Hello everyone, my name is Alberto Muratore and I’m an amateur videogames developer. Since March I’m interested in a project for which I found the team Credici; a group of people that covers me and my collaborators under the same name. Our project is called Abstract Arena, a game belonging to the action-arcade genre already available in its early version on Windows and Linux systems. Audio sector made for the occasion, minimal graphics and game’s competitive gameplay style, made the title be ranked third in the annual videogames developing competition organized by the GameMaker Italia forum. Interfacing to a wider public through our presence on social networks, we spread demo trailers and advertising material, gaining cheering critics and very good advices. At the moment the game is incomplete, because some of the main components are missing, among which the Story Mode. In the perspective of this aspect, we have partnered with Daniele Terracina, professional author of a sci-fi–fantasy books saga already started with the first book distributed in Italy by Feltrinelli, who has already written the story for the game. Who we are searching for is an illustrator. We would like to integrate illustrations to the plot narrative as it can enrich the player experience; and to ask the realization of the game cover for retail version – we know Abstract Arena will never get the support of a publisher, but we would like to send a copy at the end of the development cycle to every main videogame Italian publications, to get a review. We would let you to be quite free to express your graphic style and design our characters. What the team Credici has to offer is the demonstration of the collaboration itself, that can enrich personal and collective experiences of all the participants, counting as good example of a cooperation. Furthermore our fairly big visibility on the international public can represent a useful advertising for your other works – the game can already boast in its latest iteration of the support for English, Spanish, Deutsch and French language, and the Italian as well. Since our main goal is to public and sell Abstract Arena on Steam, we can offer a fair percentage on the profit that we can establish together. We really hope you could appreciate our project giving us the chance to show you the details of the collaboration. Alberto Muratore and Credici team. I am designing a 2D platform game where a frog is required as the main character. Not a realistic frog but a character frog that will run, jump etc. I want him to look good and have some style. Primarily for mobile, internet gaming. This job is for the design and concept art of the character only. Will be used as concept to get animation done at a later time.

I'm making a 2D puzzle platformer prototype for a game design and development course I'm completing online and need artwork and animation assets for the two main characters (Platypus and Turtle). The game is called Platypuzzler - it's about a platypus who you have to help find his way home while solving puzzles and without being able to control him directly. The version we're making at the moment is a single-level timed demo to test and show the basic mechanics. I've attached the game design doc which has lots of information about the game. Here's what I need from you: - Concept art for Platypus and Turtle characters that matches the visual language we're targeting (we'll agree on a version to take into production) - Spritesheet for Platypus' animation states (swim, idle, float, somersault, dive, feed, sleep) - Spritesheet for Turtle's animation states (swim, idle, dive, retreat into shell, pop out of shell) There is another designer working on background art. It would be great if you could discuss with them how to harmonise styles (we have a Slack set up for the game). There are also some level objects that need visual assets - either you or the other designer could do these, depending on discussions. If you end up doing them this will be outside the scope of this job and we can discuss separate payment. Game experience is highly desirable. Most of us working on this have not made a game before and are learning as we go (that's the point of it being a student project!) But someone who is familiar with the process and able to provide insight and guidance on the direction and implication of our choices would obviously be a big help! We have this with our developer, but could use extra assistance on the design side. Timing is pretty tight. I need to ship the thing by the end of the year, which means I need to get the artwork and assets to the developer in a few weeks time. Ultimately, the successful applicant will: - Be able to deliver high-quality work in an appropriate style - Understand what we're trying to achieve with the game - Have 2D game design experience - Communicate well, discuss ideas and anticipate and solve problems - Work to a fairly tight schedule Rate/contract is negotiable - I value quality, communication and reliable execution most of all. If you're interested, have a look through the doc and send me a one/two paragraph pitch and include a couple of samples or a link to your portfolio. Feel free to ask me any questions about the job or the project. Many thanks for your time and interest - I appreciate the effort involved in applying for work and I will reply to all applicants regardless of who we end up going with. Hope to work with you soon! Cheers, Danu Poyner, Australia

Most of the projects will be based on a previous idea I will provide and the creative freedom to change the style and make it better will be totally yours. I'm thinking about offering between 10-15$ per invitation and around 15-50$ for watercolor clip art set. Please feel free to ask any questions. I can't wait to get in touch with you! Best, Stefan
