As a freelancer member of the marketing team, the Copywriter will be responsible for writing compelling and relevant copy. The Copywriter will be the primary author and editor of all marketing materials designed for internal and external use. In this role, the Copywriter will work closely with members of the marketing department, as well as company executives throughout the organization.
Work closely with the Marketing team to write, edit and proof creative copy for all marketing materials. Copy will be developed for press releases, internal collateral material, email, and external direct marketing/promotional pieces aimed at generating inquiries.
Develop copy that supports the company’s brand positioning and strategic objectives.
Understand and research competitive landscape.
Proofread materials for accuracy, correct use of grammar, punctuation and content. Ensure all documents and materials meet established content standards.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as communications, English, journalism, marketing or related field.
Ability to concept and collaborate with Marketing and other internal teams. .
Strict attention to detail, excellent grammar and copy-writing skills.
Strong communication and organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask in a deadline driven environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
