Hi I have had a small company for about a year and neglected the books, for a few reasons. 1/ Inexperienced 2/ Hired an incapable person who said they were an accountant although was barely a book keeper. 3/ When first starting the business I ran into problems with people not paying me with this I was forced to claim stress and return to work. I need someone to go through the bank accounts and credit cards from last year(2014) and categorize all of the expenses for taxes for a very small business. There are not much expenses. Less than 5k for the whole year. My idea would be to give you read access to the wellsfargo accounts and let you create the categories however you want. I am not too picking on what software to use, as I don't yet have a favorite. I have had bookkeepers use intuit and/or google sheets in the past. I have been looking at maybe trying out xero. I would be looking for your guidance on the software to use. If this job works out well then there is future similar work that needs to be done for 2015.
