"Useless"

"This contract started March 9th of 2018. I did an SEO project for this client that lasted two months; March of 2018 and April of 2018. This contract had been dormant for roughly 15 months. The client chose to close it suddenly, without saying a word to me. I had no idea this was coming. The rating and the "useless" comment from this client are absurd. Please consider my response. Here are the facts: This client was very pleased with my SEO work done from March 9th to April 9th of 2018. So pleased, in fact, that he hired me for second SEO milestone on April 24th of 2019. The SEO work I did during these two milestone periods had an immediate positive affect for the client's business. This is all documented in the permanent record. I still have all of the supporting reports. I won't share specific performance numbers of course, to protect the client's privacy. But I will point out that the monthly organic revenue figure for this project increased nearly 8 fold, within 4 months of my starting work. I communicated this happy news to the client in detail - as I always do, for all my clients. For the client to now say, more than a year later, that my SEO work was "useless" is bewildering. Numerical reality says the exact opposite. I am looking at the organic revenue report for this time period as I type. The client can review the record just as easily as I can. He was very happy with everything I did at the time, but somehow he's forgotten that now. This client was so happy with my SEO work, that he chose to hire me for a second contract. He hired me at the rate of $100/hr for Google Ads account maintenance on July 18, 2018. This second contract lasted for a year. I did right by this client, just like I do right by all my clients. I hope the facts will clear this up."
