Before modeling a product or building, I like to ask clients a series of questions to decipher their wants and needs for the design. Incorporating data gathered from the client's expectations, I present different designs, methods, or ideas to provide additional feedback. I do not charge for time in which I must self-teach a concept or fix an error. Once a contract has begun, I respond to client's emails in less than 15 minutes unless after hours. I typically work from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm central time (5 hours behind UTC). If you are in a different time zone, I would be happy to adjust my schedule to fit yours. I am willing to work nights and weekends to meet your deadlines. I am a hard worker with meticulous attention to detail.
This paragraph is a little about me and my background. While attending the University of Alabama, I worked at the nearby Mercedes Benz factory as a process engineering intern. I helped start a non-profit organization to re-plant trees in areas affected by the Tuscaloosa tornado. In my senior year, our team designed a conceptual debris removal machine and debris removal process. Following graduation from the University of Alabama, I moved back to Austin, Texas. Upon moving back, I attended 80 hours of solar installation training at ImagineSolar in Austin. After this training, I worked for a local solar installation company installing grid-tied systems while putting together quotes and analyzing rebate incentives. Following my time with this company, I was accepted to the McComb's Business School at the University of Texas. While studying technology commercialization at the University of Texas, I co-authored a business plan, marketing strategy, and operations plan to commercialize a Titanium Dioxide coating used as a non-invasive solar panel cleaning solution. Following graduation from the University of Texas and before joining Upwork, I worked as a resident engineer-in-training for one and a half years with a sustainable home construction company creating construction documents. After that time, before joining Upwork, I worked as an independent contractor with several clients. Projects completed during that time include creating a 3D model and animation of a vaccine administration device, modifying shop and weld drawings of a steel carport to fit a photovoltaic solar array, and creating proposals for rooftop solar power systems. I have a stoic passion for reducing humanity's carbon footprint, aesthetic home design, improving the efficiency of power systems, and creating music. When not occupied by a project, I watch tutorial videos or further my expertise using Autodesk University and Autodesk Design Academy. My other passions include lifelong learning, authoring my three digital magazines on the app Flipboard, long walks with my dog, cooking, and working out in the yard.
