I'm an embedded firmware developer with 10+ years of experience. Most of my work is STM32 and nRF52, FreeRTOS and bare-metal C, C++, communication protocols like UART, SPI, I2C, USB, Ethernet/LwIP and BLE. Also worked with mbedTLS for secure data transmission. One of my biggest projects was Baxi Ampera Plus — a mass-produced electric boiler sold in multiple countries. I worked on firmware and refactored a large legacy codebase: migrated from Keil to CMake/GCC, set up CI/CD builds, cut the graphics library by 4000+ lines. Other projects include a wireless sensor network for spacecraft transport containers (IEEE 802.15.4), sensor nodes for UAV systems (STM32L4), HVAC monitoring with BLE and TLS (mbedTLS), and USB-HS CDC on TI AM243x. I prefer CMake-based build systems and try to set it up on new projects when possible. Also familiar with Zephyr RTOS, though haven't used it in production yet. I also do PCB design — schematic capture, layout, Gerber export for JLCPCB (KiCad). Available for short and long-term contracts.
