Freelance Photographer | Food, Events & Brand Storytelling | 5+ Years Experience Hi, I’m Justin, a freelance photographer based in Auckland, New Zealand, with over 5 years of professional experience creating clean, emotional visuals for brands, events, and businesses. My work focuses on visual storytelling. Whether it's capturing the atmosphere of a live event, highlighting the craftsmanship of food and beverages, or creating lifestyle imagery for brands, I aim to deliver photographs that feel authentic, engaging, and professionally crafted. I have worked with clients through Upwork and direct collaborations, consistently delivering high quality results with clear communication and reliability. In 2024, I received an Honourable Mention at the Sony World Photography Awards (City/Street category). My work was also showcased at the Sony Scene Tradeshow and Sony Trade Event in Sydney, recognizing my dedication to strong visual storytelling. I also have experience photographing coffee competitions and industry events for the New Zealand Specialty Coffee Association, capturing barista performances, latte art, and key moments from national competitions. Services, Tools & Work Approach I provide professional photography and visual content for brands, events, and businesses. My services include food and beverage photography, event and competition coverage, lifestyle and brand shoots, product imagery, professional photo editing and retouching, and short form video clips such as Reels or behind the scenes content. I work with a Sony Alpha camera system and Godox professional lighting, and edit using Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, DaVinci Resolve, and Premiere Pro to ensure polished, high quality results. Clients value my reliability, strong attention to detail, and clean visual style. I focus on creating natural and professional imagery while maintaining clear communication throughout the project. If you are looking for high quality visuals that elevate your brand, product, or event, I would be happy to collaborate and bring your vision to life.

Hello there! Jon Kay, cartoonist-at-large, here - I have considerable experience in a wide range of design, illustration and cartooning, story telling and animation techniques; both as a freelancer and as a student of Yoobee School of Design in Auckland, New Zealand. At Yoobee, I have gained qualifications in both graphic design and film making; so I know my way around following client briefs, page design and layouts, pre-press, research and idea development; as well as developing a firm grasp on the importance of planning, attention to detail - and, in many cases, not backing down until a particularly frustrating design challenge has been overcome! In my time in Yoobee’s film-making courses, I have created stories and scripts(both serious and comedic), storyboards and concept designs for short films, music videos, animated TV intros and motion graphics assignments (both my own and working in a group); as well as developing both hand-drawn and vector art assets (characters, props, backgrounds and title screens) for several short animated films, and bringing them to animated life using Adobe AfterEffects and the brilliant little plug-in DUiK. My freelancing work and personal projects also rely heavily on my illustration and writing skills: among other things, I have created parody advertisements, comics and character art for the Fight Squad project; multiple comic strips and comic book stories for my pop-culture-savvy series Cosmos; gig posters for the Auckland-based ‘ukulele collective’ Four Dollars Thirty; and am one chapter away from completing my sci-fi / adventure / humour-drama novel Island of the Bargain-basement Dinosaurs! How’s that for diversity? I love coming up with and developing ideas, and finding creative ways to make a story, character or situation that little bit different - anything that fires my imagination, I’m all over it.....

⭐️ Hi, I'm Abbey – Welcome to my profile! ⭐️ I am a copywriter, editor, and former journalist with extensive experience working in the media and communications industry in New Zealand and abroad (I recently returned from living and freelancing in Ireland and across wider Europe). After a significant stint as a News Journalist and then a Senior Copywriter at a marketing firm, I have been working as a "floating" freelancer for several years now, writing copy for a myriad of mediums across an eclectic range of industries. As a writer, it's a natural skill to know a little bit about a lot of things, so where my knowledge is lacking, my research skills certainly make up for it! Here is just some of the content I have covered: ✍🏼 Blogs and Articles ✍🏼 Website and E-Commerce Copy ✍🏼 Product Descriptions ✍🏼 Social Media Copy ✍🏼 White Papers and Case Studies ✍🏼 Technical Writing ✍🏼 Email Campaigns ✍🏼 Newsletter Copy ✍🏼 General Advertising and Collateral I utilise my investigative skills, storytelling ability, and experience with SEO writing to generate original (non-AI-generated), well-researched content for every project that comes across my desk. Each piece of content I create is laser-focused on being informative, highly engaging, and often structured for lead generation. My approach to working with my clients is all about getting to the root of the message they want to get across to their audience. People connect with stories, things that target their pain points, and offers that solve their problems. I work closely with my clients to determine what those messages are and present them in a compelling way that hooks their audience and keeps them coming back for more. I write for clients all over the world, the majority of which have been retainer or return clients for an extended period of time. I have also had the pleasure of ghostwriting for clients who contribute to the likes of Forbes, Entrepreneur, and Fast Company. Some of the industries I have covered: 💡Print & Digital News Journalism 💡Print & Online Magazines 💡Startups/Small Businesses 💡Finance and Investing 💡Leadership and Development 💡Technology, Additive Manufacturing & Engineering 💡Beauty, Skincare, and Health and Fitness 💡Food, Wine & Fashion 💡Education 💡Marketing Agencies 💡Trades and Home Services 💡Transport, Petroleum, and Concrete 💡Snowboarding, Skiing and Outdoor Sports If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask! I look forward to hearing from you and hope we can work together to grow your business.
