I am a passionate Frontend Developer with over 3 years of experience in the field. My love for coding started in 2013 when I first tried my hand at VBA, and since then, I have honed my skills in various programming languages such as C++, assembly, MATLAB and JavaScript. After earning my Bachelor of Science in 2013 and studying Electronic Engineering from 2014-2020, I began my career as a Data Analyst in the mobile esports industry. However, my love for coding led me to explore web development in 2019 as a hobby, and eventually, I started building web pages to help me in my work as a data analyst. With over 10 years of experience, I began my journey by founding a job posting website called HireInVenezuela in 2014. I developed the platform using Bootstrap, Django, and PostgreSQL, and maintained it for approximately two years. After graduating from college, I created Softour in 2018, a tourism website built with Bootstrap, Express.js (Node.js), and MongoDB, which I worked on for another two years. Following this, I worked as a Front-End Developer using React (JavaScript) and as a DevOps Engineer for a delivery app called Don Demand / Zupper. During my three years there, I significantly used Linux and other open-source tools for deployments, while also improving my teamwork skills. Afterwards, I worked as a JavaScript/TypeScript Back-End developer for a remote, multicultural team that included people from Portugal, India, Egypt, the Netherlands, the UK, Slovenia, and some others, which improved my capacity to work with others even with different time zones and English accents. Recently, I worked at a startup, where I developed a mobile app and API that allows users to view comics in a mobile format and subscribe to artists. Artists earn money by sharing their works on the platform. I made everything for this MVP, from the requirements gathering, defining the UX and UI components to differentiate the solution from competitors, designing the database schema, learn Flutter while developing the client app, cloud deployment using Pulumi, the landing page, setting up AWS for this project, and other smaller tasks.
