I am an eLearning Developer, Instructional Designer, and an Upwork Top Rated Plus professional with over 15 years of experience in the corporate Learning & Development field. I provide instructional design, storyboard creation, online/elearning development, video creation, voiceover, project management, and general consultation services to small, mid, and large corporate business clients including the Fortune 50/100/500/1000. Please note that I only work with new clients on an hourly rate basis, but will consider milestone projects once we have completed 1-2 projects together at my hourly rate.
Since 2014, I have developed over 5,000 highly engaging online/elearning training modules for a wide variety of industries and clients. These projects consisted of everything from small video wrappers and microlearning modules to extensive interactive certification programs currently being sold via the internet for Continuing Education Units (CEU) credit. Let me help you keep your learners engaged by creating interactive elements such as videos, click-to-reveals, drag-and-drops, knowledge checks, text entry forms, etc. and bring your content to life.
I develop courses for a variety of platforms including desktop, laptop, and mobile devices. I utilize various authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate, Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate Rise, Articulate Storyline, iSpring, PowToons, Techsmith Camtasia, Vyond, Xyleme, and many others.
My previous clients include many well-known clients such as Biogen, Cleveland Clinic, Koch Industries, Intuit, Nationwide Insurance, PNC Bank, Proctor & Gamble, State Farm Insurance, Verizon, just to name a few.
After the initial kickoff meeting, my process is just 12 simple steps (ADDIE):
1. Consult - Initial consultation to discuss needs
2. Analyze - Analyze your existing content
3. Develop - Develop additional content, if needed
4. Create - Create a storyboard to include critical learning components
5. Design - Design a basic elearning template to include branding, colors, fonts, logo, look and feel
6. Develop - Develop the elearning module using your content
7. Review - Review the course online and make your requested edits (typically 3 draft iterations)
8. Finalize - Explore the menu, player, course locking mechanisms, and other module features
9. Publish - Publish the course to SCORM, API, MP4, or to your specific needs
10. Test - Test course in your LMS and then make additional tweaks, if necessary
11. Deploy - Publish the final version, deploy the course in your LMS, and provide final files
12. Recap - Project recap meeting to close out the project and provide feedback
⭐️WORKING WITH ME⭐️
I educate my clients from start to finish in the many facets of deploying online/elearning training modules. Once under contract, I will meet with you to outline your project in greater detail, as well as provide my contact information so you can easily schedule meetings at your convenience.
Please schedule an initial pre-contract meeting (no charge) first so we can discuss your project in greater detail to ensure that we are a good match. Once we have determined that we are a good match, the client will present an Upwork offer/contract. Please note that I must receive an Upwork contract before beginning any work. I am typically available to have these conversations Tuesday's, Wednesday's, and Thursday's during regular business hours (8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. EST).
⭐️INITIAL PRE-CONTRACT MEETING⭐️: Please note that you are required to schedule all pre-contract meetings through Upwork. Please do not message me with your personal contact information. Per Upwork's Terms of Service, Upwork contractors are not permitted to communicate with clients outside of the Upwork platform unless there is a contract in place. This initial pre-contract meeting will help to determine if we are a mutual good fit. Please note that no advice or recommendations will be given during this free initial pre-contract meeting.
⭐️GENERAL PAID CONSULTATION⭐️: Please reach out to me via Upwork messaging if you are looking for specific guidance or advice outside of the initial pre-contract meeting. Let's meet to discuss your project first before you hire me for your project. Again, I just want to be sure that we are a good fit and that I understand your timelines/deadlines, etc.
⭐️UNDER-CONTRACT⭐️: Once engaged in a contract, I will provide you with my contact information. We can continue to communicate via the Upwork messaging platform or through email, phone, or text. Please note that I do not accept payment outside of the Upwork platform. All payments must go through Upwork. I also recommend scheduling regular touch base calls in order to keep your project on track.
Thank you for taking the time to read my Upwork profile. I look forward to the possibility of working with you to create an unforgettable learning experience for you, your company, and your learners.
