If you are looking for an experienced litigator with over 15 years experience to help with your case - drafting/editing complaints, motions, written discovery, and writs, strategizing, conducting depositions, and filing appeals - I'm available. However, I do not represent clients directly. I work strictly in a support capacity. If you are looking for an attorney to handle your case, I'm not available. A graduate of University of Pennsylvania Law School, I have excellent legal writing and courtroom skills (honed as a public defender) and also excel at legal research and strategy. I have handled cases in a wide variety of legal fields, including First Amendment, unfair competition law, medical malpractice, personal injury, torts, animal law, regulatory law, California Public Records Act, and criminal law. In addition to hundreds of courtroom appearances, I have argued before the California Court of Appeal and Ninth Circuit. In one case I handled at the trial level, the California Supreme Court ruled unanimously in my client's favor. I'm currently licensed in California.Human & Civil Rights

My goal is to offer not only legal precision but also real-world solutions that add value and reduce risk for my clients. Rates My fees vary depending on the complexity and specialization of the work. For example, legal translations and basic document reviews are more affordable, while corporate structuring, joint ventures, and financing packages require more in-depth analysis and custom work. I generally offer fixed-rate packages whenever possible, so clients can plan and budget without surprises. I have dedicated my career to creating opportunity, fostering empowerment, and advancing innovation in rehabilitation counseling, mental health, and disability services. With a background that bridges clinical practice, leadership, program development, grant writing, and counselor education, my work centers on building systems that uplift individuals and communities. I have experience in non-profit, for-profit, and government agencies where I oversaw strategic growth, rehabilitation program development, financial stewardship, fundraising, and staff leadership to support individuals with developmental disabilities, employees, and community stakeholders. Throughout my career, leadership has been a central focus—whether leading multimillion-dollar vocational rehabilitation programs, or building new services that offer life-changing opportunities to underserved populations. One of my core strengths lies in program development and innovation. I have successfully created and expanded initiatives that support employment, education, and independent living for individuals with disabilities and community stakeholders. My work has been consistently supported by my ability to write, secure, and manage grants, resulting in millions of dollars in funding across federal, state, and private grants. I thrive in crafting programs that are both visionary and grounded, aligning with the real-world needs of communities while aiming for sustainable, measurable outcomes. Mentorship and education are passions that guide much of my professional life. In my various roles in higher education, I have had the privilege of mentoring the next generation of counselors. I specialize in site-based learning leadership, addictions counseling, clinical skills development, and crisis response. I believe in creating learning environments that are collaborative, challenging, and rooted in real-world practice, and I enjoy helping students and professionals develop the confidence and skills they need to thrive. My background as a counselor and rehabilitation specialist has given me a deep understanding of human resilience and the pathways to personal and vocational success. My early experiences providing mental health support, youth career development, and vocational rehabilitation counseling have built a strong foundation in empathy, client-centered practice, and holistic service delivery. In addition to my work in direct service and education, I am deeply committed to professional leadership and advocacy. I have served nationally in various roles as President and on Executive Boards, and continue to serve as an Editorial Peer Reviewer for known journals and as an accreditation site visitor to continue to do what I love most, serve. Through these roles, I advocate for high standards in counseling and rehabilitation programming, support professional development, and contribute to the future direction of the field. Research and scholarship are key pillars of my career. I have co-authored multiple peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters, and I regularly present at national conferences. My research interests include work-based learning for youth with disabilities, telehealth in counseling, psychological well-being among families of individuals with disabilities, and ethical leadership practices. I am passionate about translating research into practice that makes a difference in the lives of individuals and communities. Throughout my journey, I have embraced opportunities to work across diverse settings—from nonprofit leadership to higher education, from grassroots advocacy to national scholarship. Across all these experiences, I have remained committed to a core vision: helping people and programs achieve their highest potential. Every project I lead, every class I teach, and every team I build is guided by a simple principle: success is measured not only by what we accomplish but by the lives we improve along the way. I am passionate about service, driven by purpose, and excited about what lies ahead.Human & Civil Rights
