Hello and Welcome to my Profile! I graduated as an Architect, always leaning towards Landscape, so I decided to broaden my studies in this area by taking several courses and degrees, among them the English Gardening School Course and a Course by Aquascape, a US-based company that specializes in water features for Landscape. A few years ago, I began working as an independent Landscape Designer, mainly focusing on commercial and residential gardens. Currently, I own and operate my small landscape firm called Evergreen - Landscape and Wellbeing. My focus is mainly on naturalistic planting design and wildlife oriented garden design. My usual plant schemes include native plants and environmentally beneficial species. Landscape Design is a very shifting profession, since it varies so much from one site to another. This is why I really enjoy collaborating in projects abroad. I find it is the best way to learn different plants and options for design. Upwork has helped me to do just this. The software I mainly work with for landscape is Sketch Up and Sketchbook Pro, and I also work with several design software such as AutoCAD, Archicad, 3D Studio and Real Time Landscaping. Also a few editing softwares, such as Photoshop and Illustrator. I love plants and everything that has to do with nature. I am happiest when working outdoors, and being a Landscape Architect has allowed me to do that every day. I was born and raised in Mexico, so my native language is Spanish; however, I am 100% bilingual. I can read, write and understand anything in both English and Spanish.
