WHAT I BUILD Inventory planning systems that live inside the sheets your team already uses, not in software you have to buy: • Reorder points and safety stock sized to how much your lead time varies, not to a single average number • Planned media spend turned into required units by SKU class by week, with the date each class has to be ordered to arrive in time • A weekly ordering rhythm one person runs start to finish in about 90 minutes • A written rulebook, so the system survives the person who built it If you already own planning software, this makes it work better. Software runs rules. Most companies never wrote the rules, which is why so many tools sit half configured by month three. AGENTS I HAVE BUILT AND RUN • Supplier Delivery Accuracy Agent. Compares promised delivery against actual delivery, supplier by supplier, and flags drift before it reaches the shelf. Overstock down 30% using SKU level ABC analysis and replenishment matched to sales velocity, COGS down 9%, inbound logistics cost down 12%, while the business grew 40% year on year. • A new location carrying 6,000 SKUs with no sales history. Not a forecasting problem. A shelf space allocation problem wearing a forecasting costume. I also work with brands running around 100 SKUs. Small assortments are not easier. One stockout is a much larger share of the week's revenue, and the method scales down cleanly. THE PROCUREMENT BEHIND THE PLANNING Head of Supply Chain in aluminium manufacturing: roughly 400 MT of aluminium a month bought against LME pricing, a team of 8, and full ownership of investment procurement.
