My name is Paula Rodriguez Pipo. I am an illustrator, mural artist and conservator. As I usually say; 'It is impossible to know it all, but it is possible to ignore less'. I first graduated from College with a Bachelor degree as an Auxiliary Teacher in Illustration, a field I love. Afterwards, I decided to travel to Canberra - Australia’s capital city -. There I finished my degree in Conservation of Cultural Heritage, a field that passions me due to its global cultural content. This allowed me to expand my perceptions in life and to let my work reach others. I have done mural works in Australia, Spain, and all over Argentina, as well as, series of paintings with different mediums which I sell and expose. I believe in balance, and that to be successful, happy, and excel at any job or goal one requires a healthy body and state of mind. With a healthy mind one can train itself to accept constructive criticism, pay more attention to details, develop creativity, and most important inspiring yourself to be able to inspire others. All my work centers on one thing: COMMUNICATION. In this globalized era, we need to accept and implement as many ways/ types of communication as possible. I do so through my paintings, my body language, and by trying to understand other cultures, accepting the ways in which they work and communicate. Since I was a little girl I had a challenge to overcome that took me more effort – physical and emotional- than any other. I present a deep evolutive dyslexia, which disables me to read properly, write and even find the correct words for something I want to express or say. Yet, I found out that throughout my paintings I was able to reflect exactly what I was feeling and thinking. I did not overcome my dyslexia, instead I learned how to use it on my advantage. Nowadays, when I am chatting to a client or they express what they want, I can capsize the abstraction of their feelings and thoughts and give them a figurative form. Today, I live in Argentina, selling my paintings and murals through my Instagram page. Art is another way in which we communicate ideas and thoughts. Sometimes words are not enough to reach people, and images are a powerful thing. They help us reach goals and approach communication from a different angle. By doing so, we can develop different perspectives and enhance our perception, letting us transform and transmit facts, dreams, goals, opinions, and more.
