We are working on a project for one of the largest consumer companies in the world and need some prototypes of potential product designs. We would love to find someone passionate about designing consumer products that can take a different approach to this. YOU WILL NEED TO SIGN A NON-DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT AS PART OF THE PROJECT, however if you would like to add your design to your portfolio, you can include it as long as there is no association with the company you are designing it for. We are willing to spend about $200-300 on this project, and we have an idea of the concept we would like to model out, but would also love to get outside thoughts on how to make an awesome physical product. We have access to several 3D printers and the idea is we could take your CAD model, 3D print it, and show it to the client as part of our business model solution a digital aspect we are designing, and the new physical product line, which we need help with. This company is huge and have plenty of packaging engineers that can then take the concept design further to development. Thanks, we look forward to working with you! Bo

Hello to everyone, I would like to build a tablet specifically for blender and his plugins. So it should have the better hardware and software components with which blender can run very well. I'm thinking about a good screen,a slim single bord computer and so on. I see that all around there are a lot of System On Chip boards, most of all aren't so expensive, but I haven't found the one that's also slim. Usually the usb controller integrates with the board is very big and this is not good for my purpose because I want to create a slim tablet. So,I ask help to you for the following things : 1) I want to know which kind of hardware components I can buy, regarding the SOC,battery, screen, etc, and you should be within a maximum budget of 500 Euros 2) which operatyng system Is better to run Blender and his plugins. I know what Android can't run very well the Open GL,infact there is only and old version of blender for Android. Linux for sure, but which version ? I would like to create a specific linux distro to use exclusively with blender. give me some suggestion in this area 3) when point 1 and 2 are satisfied,I need to have the digital design file to send to a 3D farm because I need they make the enclosure. So we will keep in contact because I will take the measurements of the hardware components so that you can make the digital design file. Let me know if you are interested to this project. very thanks.

hi, this is new to me, so i don't know if printing something like this is possible, but i'm sure you can have a look and tell me, see the crude presentation i attached. what i need, basically, is to design: 1) a plastic spring, about 3cm long, that can expand to about double that without breaking or losing elasticity. 2) at both ends, i need a contraption which is kind of like an electrical clip - this is where it gets tricky, as this is pretty small, say up to 4mm on the outside with a screw channel of up to say 1mm. 3) the screw itself can also be plastic and printed, or i can use watch screws, whatever the recommendation would be happy to hear advice and planning/printing offers thanks!
