I had my now-wife's engagement ring custom made when I was planning to propose years ago. I had it made in 18k white gold but we've found the constant need to "dip it" to be very frustrating and annoying. So we were going to have it remade in platinum and after feeling I got burned the first time around and seeing shapeways started 3d printing platinum, I decided to try my hand at creating the 3d model. But I found the learning process took a bit longer than I liked so I came here to have it recreated. I had a great experience but after having test pieces printed in Frosted Ultra Detail Plastic, my wife has informed me that they are thicker than she'd prefer. I have .3dm and .stl files of 2.8mm thick engagement rings and wedding bands, but we'd like them much thinner AND with the stone's setting as low profile as possible. The previous designer, that did a great job, didn't think it was possible with the current design so I'm coming back here for ideas.

Stop Voleur is a connected wearable which prevent the loss and the theft of smartphones. Hung to a watch, a bracelet, a bag or a jacket, Stop Voleur is connected via Bluetooth to your smartphone and triggers an alarm as soon as it is spirited away from you. The further you are, the louder the alarm is. Thus, in case of theft, the robber is forced to give up the phone and leave shamefully. In the event of loss or omission, you are immediately notified by the alarm and just have to pick up your favorite item.

Hello I am working on a short video to demonstrate how a watch case is made in a CNC machine, the problem right now is the watch is manufactured overseas, it is too expensive to film on location.... We want to have just one watch case made and filmed locally, do you have access to a CNC machine? Is this something you would be interested in doing? examples: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TuFcx4IttnE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8CSwOebmb0A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RnIvhlKT7SY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=reBPyJeyPac Right now all we have is the .dwg and .step files, is that enough? Keep in mind we are making this for a video so the part won't be used ;-) Love to hear from you Best,
