I am currently working on creating a webcomic and I am looking for artists (in San Diego or anywhere nearby) willing to commit some time working on this project (I am of course, willing to pay). The artwork isn't supposed to be hyper detailed and at most objects (characters, buildings, weapons, etc) being colored will have a 4 color palate. Essentially the coloring will at least be on par with the "Rick and Morty" series and on certain occasion be on the same level as the "Naruto Shippuden" anime (but these moments are few and far between). Again I must emphasize that I am not looking for extreme attention to detail like in the "Beserk" manga, but rather for a design more akin to a simpler version of a typical Naruto Shippuden manga. The art should be fast, lose and even fun to draw. If you find yourself focusing too much on a specific feature on something, it is okay to ignore it or add minor hashing. I will handle the storyboarding for the most part, but I just help in finalizing the scenes as well as coming up with some character designs from time to time.
The webcomic is called "Extracelestial" and it is the story of Alejandro Tyson, a black Mexican-American, who is the last human alive in the universe and his quest to find out what happened to all the humans. He also has a desire to make a name for humanity that will impress all existing alien species. Although he is armed with super speed, intelligence, senses, and strength, it will be hard to gain any recognition. This is in part because the most notable figures in the galaxy are Aalar; beings capable of bending the laws of physics and reality to their will.
I hope that you are interested in this project and please do not hesitate to contact me.
