My production company is looking to rebrand as a high end creative ad agency targeting big corporations who are interesting in producing video and photography campaigns that are more creative.
Creative Deviants needs a new face. Here are the things we are planning to make changes to:
A new website
A new logo
new branding elements/colors/etc
Content: (We have this for the website ready to go)
A new mission statement
A new 2016 demo reel that shows our work
Possibly a real commercial of our own describing what we do and who we are
3 case studies that follow the development of our best examples.
Here are some examples of other ad agency websites that we like/hate.
yes, it is interesting. I like the color and the way my mouse interacts with it. Simple but expressive.
that opening graphic is absolutely awesome, i want one. The rest of the website is not really my taste, I really dont like the scroll down to infinity thing....
yes Hero graphic is awesome but thats about it.
Meh. Looks close to what we have right now on our site.
I really like the landing page background graphic, not exactly this one but the idea of it. I think so much can be said by that opening graphic. That's why I like Sandwich Video so much because it tells such a story with only thumbnails.
I already have a bad taste in my mouth for these guys because I think they have taken simplicity and managed to use it to stick it to their clients and charge shit tons of money for a basic idea.
Some basic info for the new site
We are visual storytellers who make videos. Our goal is to create smart, funny, compelling content that is both stunning and irresistibly contagious. We work with brands who, in this constantly evolving digital world, share our belief that traveling off the beaten path is only journey there is.
We believe that story comes first. Yes we have really nice cameras and super cool gear, and we love talking about our gadgets, but put a huge emphasis on crafting a narrative and telling your story
For us, this is not simply just a job; this is who we are.
We love working with a brand, product or idea and turning into something that you never thought your budget could make possible.
We are part Production Company, part Ad agency, part Think Tank, and part Creative Strategists. We have over 20 years experience.
We do everything in-house: from writing to casting to production, to post. If you enter with an idea (or not) you will leave with a completely finished project.
what do our customers have in common?
publishing and education sector, large corporations, most of our clients want "talking head" type videos or instructional videos, we do a lot of "interviews" and "testimonials" all of which most likely is trying to get the consumer engaged in a product or service.
We have a lot of "sports" or "active lifestyle" type brands as well as "beauty" and "fashion" projects. (nikki type stuff)
Budgets typically range from $3000 for a simple Kickstarter video to a $60,000 airplane commercial.
We have had the best relationships and results with the people that trusted us to do our thing. We believe we have value and understand what people are looking for when they watch a video be it marketing or for entertainment. We trust the customer to know everything about their product or service and we want to be trusted to know what we are doing.
Attached is an image of a mock up website we were thinking about but stalled out.
