Ever since I was a kid, I've been fascinated by computers. I was introduced to Linux almost 15 years ago, and that was the time I discovered my first true passion.. I worked as a software developer (iOS - Swift) and Linux system administrator, but I wasn't satisfied with neither developing corporate/commercial applications, nor repeating same routines like adding/removing users, setting up VPSs, configuring programs following the same conventions.. I needed something to satisfy my passion for creativity and problem solving/algorithmic/programmatic thinking, but that is still related to Linux.. Enter Bash, an amazing way to interact and utilize full potential of your Unix OS in a totally programmatic manner..
I've been perfecting my Bash skills for over 5 years now, and I have quite a lot of complex projects, successful jobs and happy clients to support that..
I'm also quite proficient with Python as well, but given my stand on mainstream appliances, I'm only interested in jobs utilizing core principles, I DON'T have any "domain-specific" skills, so please DON'T contact me about AI/Machine Learning/Trading/Full stack/bot automation etc, only basic python skills..
That being said, if you're looking for a Linux expert who thinks of Bash as a programming language and vim as an IDE, feel free to reach out and I'd be happy to provide my services! :)

Over the last 10 years, I was working with *nix-like OSes, and now I've moved to the cloud!
Within one year, I achieved AWS Sysops associate certification, and then half a year later AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional.
I can design a reliable and highly available infrastructure. I'm proficient with Docker and using it in production on Amazon ECS. I write software (mostly utility tools) in Go and Python.
I've worked with and successfully deployed (and dockerised) multiple stacks, such as Ruby on Rails, Django and Laravel.
Below is my whole biography, if you'd like it to read.
-----
I started from FreeBSD and OpenBSD, and now I use mostly Gentoo Linux.
I have developed a big bunch of parsers/small scripts, configured a lot of different software. I have experience with a few different programming languages, mostly Python and bash. I've tried myself in web development (using flask, mongodb, a little of jQuery, etc).
At my main job I work as a DevOps/Systems administrator. I use Ansible, ElasticSearch, Gitlab with Gitlab CI, pacemaker, docker, and many more cool things! I also mentor junior developers.
Right now I need some extra money, so I'd love to do the following:
1) Ongoing sysadmin stuff. RAID, gmirror, software installation, compilation
2) Automation tasks with Ansible
3) Work with docker containers, write dockerfiles.
4) Do some Python coding to glue things together
I can dedicate a few hours every day with more hours on holidays.
I usually work between 7-10am CST (8-11am EST).

I help founders and growing businesses make better technology decisions before expensive mistakes slow growth.
Most software projects do not fail because of bad code. They fail because goals were unclear, ownership was fuzzy, scope expanded without discipline, or early architecture decisions could not support real-world operations. My role is to reduce those risks early and help companies build systems that actually ship — and continue to perform as the business grows.
I work with clients to clarify:
• What they are truly trying to achieve
• Where workflows, handoffs, or systems are breaking down
• What should be built now vs. later
• How to move forward within real budget, timeline, and operational constraints
That starts with understanding the current business, processes, and data flows — then designing practical systems that are scalable, maintainable, and aligned to outcomes. Where it adds real leverage, that may include automation, integrations, or AI.
⸻
Experience & Approach
I bring 30+ years of hands-on experience across healthcare, finance, legal, nonprofit, SaaS, and data-intensive environments.
My background includes:
• Software architecture
• SaaS platform strategy
• Backend systems and APIs
• Systems integration
• Workflow automation
• AI-enabled business systems
• Product and technical leadership
I operate in a hands-on senior advisor model:
• I personally lead architecture, technical assessments, planning, and key decisions
• When execution support is needed, I can coordinate trusted developers under clear direction
• You maintain one accountable senior point of contact throughout the engagement
Clients get executive-level judgment where it matters most — without wasting senior budget on every implementation task.
⸻
How I Typically Work
Successful projects usually follow a disciplined sequence:
1. Alignment – Clarify goals, risks, constraints, and success metrics
2. Solution Definition – Turn business needs into practical technical decisions
3. Architecture Review – Validate the direction before heavy investment
4. Phased Roadmap – Define milestones, sequencing, and priorities
5. Execution Support – Guide delivery, decisions, and course correction as needed
This approach creates momentum, reduces rework, and leads to systems that last.
⸻
Clients Hire Me To
• Serve as a Fractional CTO or senior technical advisor
• Build MVPs and new SaaS platforms the right way
• Rescue stalled or fragile software projects
• Modernize legacy systems
• Design automation and AI-assisted workflows
• Integrate disconnected tools and data sources
• Improve scalability, maintainability, and reliability
• Get an unbiased view of build vs. refactor vs. replace
⸻
If you need someone to simply complete tickets, I may not be the best fit.
If you want an experienced partner who thinks strategically, challenges assumptions, and helps you make sound technical decisions, we will likely work well together.
I’d be glad to learn more about your project and discuss whether there’s a strong fit.

If your app is broken, behind schedule, or stuck with bugs you can’t diagnose, I can help.
I’m a senior full-stack developer with 30+ years of experience fixing, stabilizing, and finishing production systems—especially React, Node.js, APIs, and databases.
I’m often brought in when:
• A project is partially built but stuck
• A previous developer disappeared
• Bugs are blocking launch

I’m a hands-on developer with 35 years of experience delivering production software across web, backend, and infrastructure systems. In recent work, I’ve been building and fixing applications using React, Node.js, MongoDB, and modern cloud environments.
I also work with Web3 systems when needed, including Ethereum and Solana smart contracts, token integrations, and wallet-based workflows. With experience across many languages and platforms, I adapt quickly to the problem at hand and focus on getting things working reliably.
Common fixes I handle:
• API integrations that fail, timeout, or return incorrect data
• Third-party API auth, webhooks, and data sync issues
• React rendering, state, and performance issues
• Node.js / Express backend errors and crashes
• MongoDB schema, query, and data issues
• Finishing half-built MVPs
I’m available for short-term fixes or ongoing support.
