A team of seasoned accounting veterans with over ten years of experience managing and providing services to small business. Our founder, Thomas Clary active CPA, has also earned an MBA from Sage Graduate School and a Master of Accountancy from Baruch College - The City University of New York. ​As an active board member of two Maryland not-for-profits, Tom loves to volunteer his skills for the community and worthy causes. He provides these organizations with thoughtful oversight and assists in determining the strategic direction of these organizations. He also enjoys simply helping where he is needed. Sonal Dahiya, MBA and Principal has over twenty years of experience in accounting & finance roles, within public accounting, retail, high-tech and the restaurant industry. Gavin Bates, Managing Partner, has thirteen years of public accounting experience. Providing bookkeeping, tax return preparation, compilation, review, and audit services for individuals, small to medium-sized companies, and nonprofit organizations. Giordano Defilippo, Accountant, a Staff Accountant with Aspire, who is committed to providing the highest quality of service for his clients. Trace Bourn, Accountant, is a Staff Accountant who has a BA in Finance, including a number of accounting classes, from Siena College. ​As a Controller or Consultant, we have overseen the books for start-ups, not-for-profits, and large enterprises. Aspire sets up accounting systems, payroll, bookkeeping, and financial reporting processes. Our system implementations include small business software like Quickbooks and Xero. Our knowledge and expertise extends to ERP systems for inventory and manufacturing companies. We have also played a lead role in selling several businesses and business lines, establishing lines of credit and term loans, managing payroll and retirement, and establishing policy and controls for AR, AP, and Sales Orders. Our experience includes providing income tax services for partnerships, S corporations, trusts and estates, and individuals and tax planning for significant business transactions. We also have extensive experience in payroll and sales tax. ​ ​
