"This project was previously started off by another freelancer outside of India who stopped suddenly due to some personal circumstances. I was really helpless and feeling who will want to work on something that is started by somebody else. However, I am very very fortunate to have run into this freelancer who took up this work and very patiently and diligently understood my requirements (there was no written requirements spec) and who understood the existing code and started working from there. He also took time to do the initial study of the code and until he had a working setup, he didn't begin billing. I am extremely pleased that I could find such a developer in India (I need to change my perception and so should a lot of people across the globe, especially on such freelance sites such as this and elance) who could deliver my requirements and expectations. He is very well versed with Wordpress, Buddypress, various other plugins, PHP/mySQL, HTML etc. I would definitely refer him to my friends and would also use his services again in future when I get funded.
