PhD Psychology

Hello, I am Rita Meneses, a registered clinical psychologist (Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses, Portugal, 2008) with a Ph.D in Psychology (University of Birmingham, UK, 2011), and a Proficiency in English certificate (Cambridge University, 1995). My main experience is as a researcher and writer for scientific areas such as psychology, sociology, medicine, philosophy, business, and marketing. I rather enjoy these activities. I published a couple of academic papers, related to research projects conducted before starting to freelance. Noteworthy are those exploring the phenomenology of empathy, and attachment theory. I am used to speaking, reading, and writing in English. Moreover, I lived in England for four years. Although I am comfortable with French and Portuguese, I am more proficient and confident in English. I have published work in this language. Recently, I actualized my knowledge by pursuing a post-graduation which furthered my data mining and design thinking skills (PgD Knowledge Management and Business Intelligence, NOVA IMS, Lisbon, Portugal, 2017).
