"This was my first experience using Upwork. I hired Seth to write my best man speech. I provided Seth with a detailed set of notes on the groom, bride, wedding party, etc. and he came back with a script that was un-FREAKING-believably funny. I had to pause when reading it for the first time to message him and tell him how incredible it was. Before hiring Seth, I expected the speech would take a few rounds of iteration with the speechwriter to get it right. After putting Seth to work, the first copy he returned with (at 5am that same night) was so doggone good, only minor changes had to be made. What I liked about Seth is that he is an expert at what he does and is able to simply communicate why things should be done a certain way. He was the only potential Upwork contractor who, based on my speech request, actually gave me a recommendation in his product pitch. I knew right then he was the man for the job. After sending me the speech, he made it clear that his "first draft" would be good enough to go right away, which I appreciated. He also gave me tips on the delivery and graciously provided an audio version which has helped in nailing my timing down. This is a man who takes his work seriously. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. In this case, Seth was worth every penny. Now time to memorize this damn thing!"
