As an engineering student, it's always hard for me to communicate my more artistic experience and find employment in related areas. All of my 'on paper' jobs are customer service and CAD related but what isn't seen are my continually growing skills in photography, videography and creative 3D modeling that I've learned on my own. I like to think of my skills as all fairly related but it's been difficult to break the engineering vs artistic divide when seeking work. After many applications trying to gain a variety of experiences, I have yet to be considered for my more creative abilities beyond engineering. My goal here is to gain that experience in all the areas I can and further build my portfolio.
