I started my education as a media designer before studying sociology. This helped me to acquire skills in tools like Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects and many others. Several internships in that field helped me further developing those skills in video and photo editing. In addition, 3D modeling and game design has always been a hobby of mine which I spent most time with in the past 15 years. I've been mostly working with tools like Maya, Blender, Sony Vegas, Gimp, Game Maker and Unreal Engine at which I have at least advanced experience. In my own projects I do everything starting with the concept over 3D modeling, 2D texturing, PBR materials, editing, rendering and merging everything in a game engine like Unreal or Unity. My weak spots are 3D animation and character modeling which I know least about. Also I wouldn't consider myself being a programmer despite having created several small programs and games with different coding languages and game engines. Right now I spend most of my time with photogrammetry and creating photorealistic visuals for games and architectural projects. I'm working on a physics-based combat game in Unreal Engine at the moment, which I try to get kickstarted during this year. I have also been transcribing scientific, medical and IT audio material, including subtitles for several companies, for over 3 years now. In addition, I've been a writer for different portals for over 10 years. All of that mostly in German. Most of the portfolio presented here is based on my own projects. One reason is that I haven't really considered working as a 3D artist before. But I try to take small steps into the business.
