As part of a volunteer project, I have adapted Raspberry Pi devices to work with a VOIP product (Mumble) to help the Civil Air Patrol more efficiently communicate with their staff during mission critical events. I created the entire server structure to process all user management as well as the setup of the Mumble server. Again, MySQL, PHP and python were some of the tools utilized. I have revolutionized several pharmaceutical companies to properly manage their sales and promotional marketing budgets during the last 25 years. The last development introduced new procedures through extensive change management so they could manage a budget approaching 1 billion dollars. The resultant technology solution that I implemented managed over 3500 projects and affected over 350 end users in the past year. The system managed both production schedules as well as budgets. In addition, it interfaced directly with SAP to tightly integrate all financial data as well as purchase activity. I designed and developed a web-based system to manage all of the Field Sales promotional spending for over 4000 sales representatives. The funds and budgets were integrated into the budget management system and thus help increase sales revenues by timely use of budget dollars. I have worked with one of the leading genetic research branches of a large pharmaceutical company for over 15 years. The tasks accomplished have been in a wide range of disciplines including laboratory system development, legal tracking, research budget management and product sales support and web site development.
