I’m an accountant with 3+ years in various accounting fields. I worked in accounts payable/receivable management during my studies while also being in charge of a small team. This job consisted of bank account reconciliations, cash flow, GST returns and other end of month reporting such as payroll tax and payroll processing. I then moved on to EY where I worked as an auditor and have worked on a wide variety of clients from engineers to agricultural businesses and medical product development. This is where I began my studies for my chartered accounting of which I am now a third of the way through and am continuing to do. I am currently working as an accountant in Queenstown preparing companies and individuals accounts, financial statements, income tax returns and Goods and Services returns. I am extremely proficient in excel and have sufficient Xero knowledge, I undertake regular Xero courses and am working towards a Xero specialist qualification. Other strengths of mine are communication, accuracy, timeliness, efficiency and presentation all of which I pride myself on when undertaking any job, big or small.
