I hold a BA in Studio Art, a minor in English, with additional study in the fields of photography, theater, and art education. I’m a lifetime learner, adding to my knowledge every year. To keep my skills sharp, I am currently working toward a certification in writing and editing from the University of Michigan. ABOUT ME: I’m a bit book crazy; you’ll find overflowing bookcases in all the rooms of my house except the bathroom. I’ve worked a wide variety of jobs: retail manager, display manager, library circulation and technical services clerk, rhythm guitar player, graphic designer, and assistant tai-chi instructor to name a few. Gardening is one of my hobbies, another is jewelry making. I have one cat named Pippin, who often gets into more mischief than the hobbit from Lord of the Rings.
