Once I completed my undergraduate degree in Management Information Systems, I was offered a position as a Business Intelligence Developer at Anthem which I promptly accepted. This award was nominated for me by senior leadership for exemplary work in the analytics space. A few months later I would go on to achieve my Snowflake certification. Afterwards, I've moved on to another insurance company where I would gain more leadership experience. At Hiscox Business Insurance, I took on the role as a Business Intelligence Architect. I led as an expert in data strategy by laying out the foundation of a three-year data transformation roadmap. Outside of those responsibilities, I led company-wide training sessions monthly to turn employees into Tableau power users. Currently, I have been acting as an analytics consultant with 4 years in the space with various companies such as Nike, Apple, and Slalom. I've successfully completed a wide variety of projects ranging from several week projects to year long projects in FinTech, Health Insurance, Retail, and Technology. While many people have Tableau skills, many do not have the skills to make beautiful AND effective dashboards. This is where I feel I separate from the pack.
