I have a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Industrial Design and 10+ years of professional experience. My work centers on the themes Digital Fabrication and Consumer Products. Digital Fabrication With tools such as laser cutters and 3D printers, manufacturing gets democratized and new possibilities for materiality, geometry and customization open up. In my work I explore these possibilities using state-of-the-art software such as Rhinoceros+Grasshopper, an in-house FDM 3D printer for prototyping, and 3D printing services to create 3D printed end products. An exemplary project is a collaboration with fashion designer Marina Toeters, where an interactive yoga shirt was created for VF corporation. The shirt incorporates innovative construction methods and textile sensors that together with on-screen software provide feedback on movement and breathing.
