I am a video editor and filmmaker with over eight years of experience creating a wide range of visual content across multiple formats and platforms. I run my own creative studio, Broken Macaron, where I handle the entire production process — from planning, filming, and editing to color grading, motion graphics, and sound design. I primarily use the Sony FX3 camera, Adobe Creative Suite, and DaVinci Resolve in my workflow. One of my most meaningful professional experiences was working with the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), an environmental organization based in New York. I produced various videos on topics such as PFAS, wildlife protection, and water issues, incorporating motion graphics to strengthen the storytelling. Through my dedication and collaboration with the multimedia team, I received three recommendation letters from NRDC managers, which helped me obtain my O-1B artist visa. I am currently in the process of applying for permanent residency in the United States. Recently, I have been collaborating with Ninth+Main, a Texas-based marketing agency, creating videos that highlight architecture, lifestyle, and mixed-use developments in the region. I also work as a video editor for JukeBoxJake, a TikTok music channel that grew from 23K to over 98K followers during my participation. Additionally, I edit videos for PerryPicture, an illustration-based YouTube channel. Previously, I produced event and documentary videos for the Korean Consulate in San Francisco and KOTRA (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency), and later worked as a content creator at COBA Coffee, a startup based in Oakland.
