With all the latest user-privacy regulatory considerations to abide by now, server-side tracking is now becoming more of a need instead of a nice-to-have. I have been working more heavily with server-side tracking configurations in GTM as a result. This includes sending server-side data to GA4, as well as the FB CAPI. For anyone with Shopify and using Elevar, or looking to launch with Elevar, I am very versed in that server-side tracking tool, having worked with the Elevar team directly for a time.
Reporting. Reporting. Reporting. We all know how valuable reports are to turn over to a client or to an internal marketing team, to showcase performance and results. Especially with GA4 being so new to folks, I have expanded my skill set into Data Studio dashboard builds.
