Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting legal research, preparing legal documents, and managing case files. You will support attorneys in case preparation and ensure all legal documentation is properly handled.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research. Research case laws, statutes, and legal precedents to support attorneys in case preparation.
  • Prepare legal documents. Draft contracts, pleadings, motions, and briefs, ensuring accuracy and legal compliance.
  • Manage case files. Organize, maintain, and update case files, including correspondence, pleadings, and discovery materials.
  • Client communication. Assist with client communication, scheduling meetings, and following up on inquiries.
  • Trial support. Help attorneys prepare for court appearances by organizing exhibits, witness statements, and legal materials.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a paralegal or in a similar legal support role.
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
  • 3+ years of experience in a legal environment.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) and document management software.
  • A degree or certification in paralegal studies is preferred.

Preferred Skills
