My name is Kim Finister and I would like to present my story. It covers many years but I will briefly highlight what I have to offer as a seamstress. My passion for sewing includes fabrics, fashion, designing, clothing, costumes and home décor items. While raising my family, I worked in the business world in the accounting field, so these details appear in my resume. During that time I sewed my children’s school clothes, holiday and special occasion outfits along with some of my own wardrobe and household items. I have been sewing for over 40 years and I have learned many techniques in perfecting my skills along the way. I have been sewing for 4 decades. I am not a professionally trained seamstress or designer however, I have much experience making sewing patterns work to create the look you like for personal apparel or costumes. I can design a costume or apparel by combining different sewing patterns. Over the more recent years, I have done costume design for local community and high school theatre. I have costumed/designed full shows such as Les Miserables, Bright Star, Curtains, Into the Woods, Suessical, Sweeney Todd, showcasing many of the pieces that fit the show's time period, or designed character speciality pieces in the show. I can show samples of my work, upon request. As a detail person, I also have knowledge of detailing apparel or costume pieces, such as beading, sequins, embroidery, cross-stitch.

Hi, I am Anna. * I've been sewing with a machine since I was 12 year old and a needle since I was 8. * I ran an Etsy shop for 2 years until we had to move to a new city. * I don't currently don't have a surger but I have a sewing machine and flexibility and experience to alternatively finish raw seams on sewing projects. * I am a quick, adaptive thinker, flexible and creative. * I have been sewing for my family for 25 years and have been doing basic alterations for the past 10 years by word of mouth. * I can also do some great crocheting. I don't use patterns, I create designs for hats, scarves, and granny square related projects on my own.
