From idea to a working system. I help define what needs to be built, develop the application, and prepare the infrastructure to run it. If an existing system isn't working properly, I investigate the cause and fix it. I have over 15 years of professional experience across software development and systems administration. I can work out user flows and build the interface using an existing template. If you need custom visual design, that part is best handled by a designer. For an ISP, I implemented the technical side of an in-house payment terminal system so customers could pay at locations and times convenient for them. My work covered terminal configuration and monitoring, a PHP payment gateway, payment processing, logging, reporting, and integrations with other service providers. Infrastructure, DevOps, and hosting For clients, I've built and maintained development and production infrastructure, including GitLab, Redmine, SonarQube, NGINX-based application servers, containers, and virtual machines. I've worked with Linux, Docker, VMware, Proxmox, and Vagrant. A substantial part of my experience involves AWS, including serverless solutions, Lambda, and Aurora. I've also worked with cPanel hosting and automated hosting maintenance. Over my career, I've migrated thousands of WordPress websites of varying complexity. I know PHP and WordPress internals well, have written plugins, maintained websites, and resolved technical issues. Development and tools For new projects, I currently prefer Rust and TypeScript for their strong typing and support for automated testing. I've written code in many languages over the years, so I can also work on existing projects with different stacks and investigate unfamiliar code. I'm particularly interested in reverse engineering, low-level debugging, and game modding. I've developed mods and gaming tools, and run and maintained my own game servers. I also have experience with C#/.NET and Unity. I use AI tools, automation, and testing to investigate code, develop solutions, and verify the results. How I work I prefer fixed-price projects with specific, agreed deliverables. If the scope isn't clear yet, we start with a paid investigation or requirements phase, then determine the implementation cost.
