I need someone to model and make shop drawings for a towel rack for a bathroom. It looks sort of like a ladder and can be parallel to the wall in position 1, but the bottom posts telescope in / out so that the rungs can be angled in position 2. All parts are stainless steel, to be fabricated by our shop. The project will consist of 2 phases - the first will just be a preliminary concept model to show to the client for direction approval. The 2nd phase will involve detailed assembly and part drawings using provided Solidworks templates. Must be able to use SW2020 or SW2022.

We're selling a single-family home in Breckenridge Colorado and need photorealistic, AI-generated renderings showing what the house will look like after a planned second-story "pop-top" addition. The addition goes over an awkward, low, single-story wing of the house — right now that section is hard for buyers to picture as anything other than "small and dated," and we believe it's costing us interest. A polished "after" rendering, both inside and out, would let buyers see the potential instead of guessing at it. I attempted this myself using AI image tools and got close, but not close enough — the proportions, roofline, and siding/trim match aren't convincing enough to put in front of buyers. I'm attaching: *Current photos of the house (the "before") *My own AI-generated attempts at the addition, so you can see exactly what's not working (roofline doesn't read as structurally real, materials don't quite match, second story looks slightly disconnected from the massing below) What We Need *3-4 photorealistic exterior renderings of the completed second-story addition, matched to the existing green horizontal lap siding, dark window trim, and roof pitch — rendered from the same angles as our reference photos (front/driveway view and rear/patio view) so they read as real "after" shots, not generic concept art *1-2 interior rendering (or a clean, labeled cutaway/floor-plan-style visual) of the new upper-level space — a primary suite with walk-in closets and en-suite bathroom, in the spirit of the rough floor-plan concept I've attached, but polished and buyer-ready *Final images sized and optimized for MLS and real estate marketing use *Reference Materials Provided (attached to this post) *Current exterior photos of the house, multiple angles *My own AI-generated attempts at the addition — useful mainly as a "here's what's not working" reference Ideal Skills *Demonstrated experience with AI-assisted architectural visualization (Midjourney, Stable Diffusion + ControlNet, Photoshop generative fill, or comparable tools) *A real eye for residential architecture — the addition has to look structurally plausible and load-bearing-sane, not pasted onto the roofline Bonus: prior experience producing real estate marketing renders ("future state" / renovation concept visuals for active listings) Timeline & Budget Budget: $250–$500, fixed price Turnaround: 3–5 days — the listing is live now, so speed matters Please state your estimated turnaround in your proposal To Apply, Please Include *2–3 examples of similar AI-generated architectural or real estate visualization work (before/after examples strongly preferred) *A sentence or two on your process and which tools you use *Confirmation you can start within 24 hours Note for the freelancer These renderings are for marketing purposes only — to help buyers visualize a potential addition. They are not construction-ready architectural drawings and don't need to meet permitting/structural standards, just look convincingly real.

We have an existing mechanical assembly for an automotive armrest. The product is fully designed and already in production. We need an experienced mechanical engineer to redesign one portion of the hinge mechanism. Current issue During assembly, the front hinge pin is free to rotate, making alignment difficult and slowing production. Goal Redesign the hinge so the pin cannot rotate during assembly while keeping the design simple, reliable, and suitable for production. Possible solutions may include: Anti-rotation (D-shaped or keyed) pin Other professional solutions if better We are looking for the best engineering solution—not just modeling what we suggest. What we provide Native CAD files, step files Complete assembly Existing hinge design Photos/videos if needed Deliverables Updated SolidWorks part and assembly files Updated STEP files Manufacturing-ready design Short explanation of the chosen solution Requirements Strong SolidWorks experience Mechanical design experience Understanding of tolerances and production assembly Experience designing hinges or moving mechanisms is a big plus This is a small project, but we are continuously developing new automotive products. A good result can lead to long-term work. When applying, please send examples of mechanical products or assemblies you've designed. We are not looking for beginners. Please apply only if you have real mechanical design experience. We don't have the time or desire to train someone at our expense.

Provide 3D piping and equipment drawing in compact footprint with applicable clearances. I have example of layout and a PID (Piping, Instrumentation Diagram). this is for hydronic made of copper fittings and typical circulator (I have several file formats or dimensions for you to draw the heat exchanger) a library of hydronic accessories would be helpful (ball valve, thermometer, pressure guage, drain, etc. the concept is to provide a 3D drawing so a faricator can price the job to build the system. It will require a steel base with standard C channel steel.

Contracting out early-stage hardware design and development to mature a concept to a prototype-ready stage. This is a stealth idea that requires signing an NDA, but it offers the chance to work for a fast-paced, high-profile startup. Need an experienced mechanical design engineer to take it from concept geometry to fabrication-ready parts. Significant opportunity for follow-on work. WHAT YOU WOULD OWN - Parametric CAD from concept sketches, requirements and hand calculations - Design for manufacturability against CNC machining and additive processes - Fabrication drawings with proper GD&T and a defensible tolerance stack - Quoting (though not ordering) through Xometry (or similar): manage and deliver quotes, support and resolve DFM feedback. Follow on work through prototype iteration. would need to maintain BOM and parts tracker for revision control. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU - 7+ years of professional mechanical design — real production parts, not just concept models - Specific 3+ years experience in high pressure pneumatic (air, nitrogen, or CO2) system design and production - Fluent in Fusion 360 and/or SolidWorks; native files are a deliverable - Genuine DFM instincts. You should be able to look at a part and say "this feature will double the machining cost, here is the cheaper way to get the same function" - Experience ordering through on-demand manufacturing services and managing suppliers - GD&T you can defend - Clear, low-overhead written communication. You will often work asynchronously REQUIREMENTS - Must be a U.S. person and located in the United States (this is a hard requirement) - Willing to sign a mutual NDA before receiving any technical material - Available 10–15 hours per week on a consistent basis ENGAGEMENT We would like to start with a paid 20-hour scoping engagement — you review what exists, tell us what you would change, and produce one small deliverable. If that goes well we move to an ongoing 15–20 hr/week arrangement through October with a potential extension through December. Please include in your proposal: 1. Two examples of parts you designed that were actually manufactured, with a sentence on what DFM decision saved cost or schedule. One example must be of a pneumatic system. 2. Your CAD environment and version 3. Your experience with Xometry, Protolabs, Fictiv or similar 4. Confirmation of U.S. person status and U.S. location 5. Your hourly rate and realistic weekly availability Please do not send a generic proposal. Reference something specific from this post.

We are an R&D company looking for an expert in Parametric Sheet Metal CAD (SolidWorks, Inventor, etc.) to design a custom 14-gauge steel enclosure (approx. 600mm L x 250mm W x 200mm H). The design requires advanced press-brake knowledge, as the lower tub must be formed from a single flat sheet using a folding method to eliminate horizontal bottom welds. The lid requires a flanged seal, specific cutouts for compression latches, and a cross-break stamped pattern for rigidity. You must understand bend deductions and K-factors. Note: This project involves patent-pending technology. The selected freelancer will be required to sign an NDA before receiving the complete, detailed engineering brief, including precise hole placements and hardware specifications.
