We are a luxury residential interior design firm seeking a talented Chief Architect Rendering Specialist to become an extension of our team. We are not looking for someone to create one-off renderings—we're looking for a long-term partner who can consistently bring our designs to life through beautiful, photorealistic visualizations. About the Role Our team creates the architectural 2D layout and design direction in Chief Architect. Your role is to transform those models into presentation-quality interiors by accurately incorporating our specified furnishings, lighting, finishes, and materials. A key responsibility is building and maintaining our custom library of high-quality 3D models (blocks) for the luxury products we specify. You'll create realistic 3D assets from manufacturer specification sheets, dimensions, and reference images, helping us produce increasingly accurate client presentations while expanding our proprietary design library. For each project, we'll provide: • Chief Architect 2D model • Furniture specification sheets • Lighting specifications • Cabinet finishes • Paint colors • Flooring selections • Plumbing fixtures • Decorative accessories and artwork • Inspiration images and design direction Your responsibility is to accurately recreate our designs using the products we've selected, develop custom 3D blocks when needed, apply realistic materials and finishes, style the space, and produce presentation-quality renderings suitable for client presentations. What We're Looking For We are seeking someone who: • Is highly proficient in Chief Architect X17 • Has experience creating or modifying custom 3D furniture and product models • Can build accurate 3D blocks from manufacturer specification sheets, dimensions, and reference photography • Creates exceptional photorealistic interior renderings • Has a strong eye for interior design, scale, lighting, materials, and composition • Can accurately recreate specified furnishings and finishes—not simply substitute similar library items • Understands luxury residential interiors and the importance of proportion, styling, and detail • Is detail-oriented and follows specifications carefully • Communicates clearly and consistently meets deadlines • Is interested in building a long-term working relationship • Has experience working directly with interior designers and translating specification sheets into highly accurate, presentation-quality interiors Typical Workflow Receive our Chief Architect model. Review specification sheets, reference images, and design notes. Create custom 3D blocks for products not available in the Chief Architect library. Replace placeholder items with our specified furnishings, lighting, cabinetry, finishes, accessories, artwork, and décor. Apply realistic materials, textures, lighting, and styling to create presentation-quality interiors. Deliverables • An updated, fully editable Chief Architect project file with all custom 3D models, materials, and finishes incorporated, allowing our team to continue editing and present the design to clients. • Revisions based on client feedback. To Apply Please include: • A portfolio of luxury residential interior renderings. • Examples of custom 3D furniture or product models you've created from manufacturer specification sheets. • Examples of Chief Architect projects you've completed. • The software you use in addition to Chief Architect. • Your typical turnaround time. • Your hourly rate or preferred pricing structure. • A brief description of your experience working with interior designers or architects. Please do not apply if your portfolio consists primarily of exterior architecture, commercial projects, AI-generated renderings, or stock library models. We are specifically looking for someone who can create accurate custom 3D models and photorealistic renderings for luxury residential interiors. We will begin with a paid test project. If we're a great fit, our goal is to build a long-term partnership with someone who becomes an integral part of our design team and helps us develop our proprietary library of luxury furnishings and finishes.

Project Overview: We are seeking a high-level 3D character artist to develop a hyper-detailed, childlike character asset and a corresponding product box asset. These assets will be the face of a massive, upcoming digital marketing campaign and skill-based contest. Art Direction & Style: The character must be designed with a very specific "Toy-Human Hybrid" visual aesthetic. We require hyper-realistic textures for the skin, materials, and clothing, contrasted with deliberately visible, mechanical articulation joints. It should feel like a premium, hyper-real designer collectible brought to life.

Job Description I'm developing a small cast cauldron for a seasonal Halloween candle product. Melted wax will be poured directly into the cauldron itself (it's the candle vessel, not just a holder for a separate candle). I need a designer to turn my concept into manufacturing-ready files. What I need: - A 3D CAD model of a small cauldron shape, suitable for metal casting (cast iron) - Deliverables in .STP (STEP) format for the 3D model - A dimensioned 2D drawing in PDF format, suitable to send to a foundry for a manufacturing quote Design details: - Approximate size: [fill in — e.g., 3–4 inches tall, 3 inches diameter] - Style: traditional round cauldron shape with three short legs and a small looped handle on both sides - Intended use: candle wax will be poured directly into the cauldron (this is not a holder for a separate tealight. The cauldron itself is the vessel the wax cures in). Design needs to account for: - A solid, leak-free pour (no porosity or seams that could let hot wax escape) -vWall thickness suitable for containing hot liquid wax (~180–200°F pour temp) without excessive heat transfer to the outside surface - Interior surface/finish that is safe for direct wax contact (no toxic coatings or platings on the inside) - A wick placement/centering point if possible (e.g., a small interior tab or the base design accommodating a wick sticker) - Material: cast iron - Should account for basic casting requirements (draft angles, wall thickness, avoiding sharp internal corners, etc.) since this will go straight to a foundry for a quote Ideal freelancer: - Experience designing parts specifically for casting or metal manufacturing (not just general product rendering) - Comfortable producing foundry-ready files, not just concept art - Bonus: past experience with cookware, decorative metal goods, or similar cast products To apply, please include: - Examples of past CAD work, especially anything designed for casting/manufacturing - Your estimated turnaround time - Any questions about the design before we get started I have reference images/sketches I can share once we connect. This is a small, well-defined project. It's ideal for someone who can turn it around quickly and is comfortable communicating clearly about casting design constraints. Budget Fixed Price - Open to Discussion Skills CAD, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Product Design, 3D Modeling, STEP File, Manufacturing Design, Casting Design, Mechanical Design Thank you for your interest!

We're looking for a US-based 3D modeler to build a small library of low-poly aircraft icons for use as map markers in a Mapbox GL JS application. These are stylized, generic aircraft type-category icons — not detailed replicas of any specific airframe or manufacturer. Think the level of abstraction you see in flight-tracking apps: a high-wing single, a low-wing single, a narrowbody twinjet, and so on. Clean, readable silhouettes that hold up at small on-screen sizes. All designs are generic; we are not asking you to model any real-world proprietary aircraft or work from manufacturer drawings. SCOPE Round 1: one aircraft model, low-poly, Mapbox-ready. Paid, and treated as a proof of concept. If it goes well: approximately 9 additional models covering other generic type categories, scoped separately under the same terms. Please tell us whether your per-model price improves across a batch of ~10. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS - Format: glTF 2.0, delivered as a single self-contained .glb - Materials: standard PBR metallic-roughness only. No unsupported texture extensions (no WebP textures). Keep material count low. - Named materials: assign distinct, sensibly named materials to major surfaces — at minimum a separate "fuselage" material from wings, tail, and glass. We recolor and re-skin these at runtime, so this matters. - Node hierarchy: preserve distinct nodes and materials on export. Do not merge everything into a single mesh. If you optimize with gltfpack or similar, use flags that keep nodes, materials, and extras rather than the default aggressive merge. - Animation: none needed. Static pose only. - Complexity: target well under 15,000 vertices. These are icon-scale assets, not hero models. - Textures: lowest resolution that meets the bar. Vertex colors or simple flat materials instead of textures wherever possible. Optimize for fast load in a web map. Technical constraints follow Mapbox's 3D model guide, worth a skim before you bid: https://docs.mapbox.com/style-spec/guides/using-3d-models/ RIGHTS AND TERMS - Work-for-hire with full assignment. All work product — final .glb plus editable source files (e.g. .blend) — is assigned to us on payment, worldwide and in perpetuity. - Moral rights waived to the extent permitted by applicable law. - No third-party assets. No stock models, marketplace assets, kitbash libraries, or anything royalty-bearing, attribution-required, or otherwise encumbered. You warrant the work is original and yours to assign. - AI-generated content: please disclose upfront if any part of your workflow uses generative AI to produce geometry or textures. Not an automatic disqualifier, but we need to know. - No portfolio use without written permission. Deliverables may not be displayed, resold, or redistributed. - NDA required before we share project references or additional context. - US-based contractors only. WHAT TO INCLUDE IN YOUR PROPOSAL 1. Portfolio examples of low-poly vehicle, aircraft, or icon-style models. glTF/GLB samples strongly preferred. 2. Confirmation you are US-based and can sign a work-for-hire agreement and NDA. 3. Typical turnaround for one icon-scale model. 4. Confirmation you can deliver both source files and an optimized, node- and material-preserving .glb. 5. Fixed price per model, and batch pricing for approximately 10 models.
