We are seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 engineer to provide hypercare support during and immediately after tenant migration cutovers. These will be short-term, high-intensity engagements focused on the go-live window and the stabilization period that follows. You will be the front line for triaging and resolving end-user and mail-flow issues as users transition to the target tenant, so calm troubleshooting under pressure and strong communication matter as much as technical depth. This is not a project-planning or migration-architecture role. The cutover design and tooling will already be in place. Your job is to keep users productive and resolve issues fast during the critical hours and days around each cutover. What you'll do: Provide real-time support during scheduled cutover windows (some evenings and weekends expected) Validate mail flow, autodiscover, free/busy, and coexistence teardown post-cutover Troubleshoot Outlook profile rebuilds, OWA, and mobile (Outlook mobile, native iOS/Android) re-provisioning Resolve Teams sign-in, chat/history, and channel access issues after migration Support OneDrive and SharePoint re-sync, known-folder-move, and permissions issues Assist users through MFA re-registration and Conditional Access prompts in the target tenant Handle identity edge cases: sign-in failures, licensing, delegate/shared mailbox access, distribution list and resource mailbox behavior Document recurring issues and feed patterns back to the migration lead for batch remediation Escalate cleanly with clear reproduction steps when an issue is beyond hypercare scope Required skills and experience: Hands-on M365 tenant-to-tenant or on-prem-to-cloud migration support, ideally in a cutover or hypercare capacity Strong Exchange Online administration: mail flow, transport rules, DNS/MX/autodiscover, hybrid coexistence concepts Working knowledge of Entra ID (Azure AD): users, licensing, MFA, Conditional Access, sign-in log analysis Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint Online end-user troubleshooting Comfort with the M365 admin centers and PowerShell (Exchange Online, Microsoft Graph) for triage and bulk fixes Excellent written communication and the ability to explain fixes to non-technical users with patience Reliable availability during agreed cutover windows, including off-hours Nice to have: Experience with cross-tenant migration tooling ([e.g., Quest On Demand, BitTitan MigrationWiz, ShareGate, CloudM] adjust to match the engagement) Intune / device re-enrollment experience Prior work supporting mid-to-large enterprise environments Familiarity with ticketing and rapid triage workflows

Overview We’re a software company that resells Microsoft licenses as part of our SaaS product and deploys workloads in Microsoft Azure. We need a specialist who can accurately model our per-user and per-deployment costs across both Azure infrastructure and Microsoft licensing so we understand exactly what each customer deployment costs us. What you’ll do • Build a clear, reusable cost model for a product deployment that combines Microsoft 365 licensing (e.g. E3/G3) with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) • Use the Azure Pricing Calculator to estimate infrastructure costs across different VM sizes and configurations (e.g. 8 GB vs 16 GB RAM, session host counts, storage, bandwidth) • Break down Microsoft licensing costs per user, including how E3/G3 and any add-ons stack up • Model how costs scale as we add users/seats, and identify the main cost drivers • Deliver the model in a spreadsheet we can adjust ourselves (change RAM, seat count, VM size, etc. and see the cost update) Required expertise • Hands-on experience with the Azure Pricing Calculator and real-world Azure cost estimation • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 / Azure licensing, including CSP/reseller licensing models • Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop sizing and cost (session hosts, VM SKUs, storage, FSLogix, etc.) • Ability to translate technical configs into a clean cost breakdown a non-engineer can follow Nice to have

Here's this version with all names, domain, and contact details removed for public posting: I'm reaching out because I'm helping a close friend sort out ongoing email and domain issues for her small business, and I'd like to find someone who can take this on properly — both to fix the current problem and to be our go-to support person for this domain going forward. I'm not technical, so I've been guessing my way through vendor support chats, and I want a professional who can look at this end-to-end and just handle it. Current setup (three different providers, which is part of the problem): Registrar: one provider Nameservers/DNS: currently pointed to a second provider Email hosting: currently on a third provider The core issue: The account holder has had recurring, intermittent email failures for about a week — sometimes can't receive, sometimes can't send, sometimes both, on both desktop Outlook and phone. Specific errors seen: Incoming: 0x800CCC0E ("Outlook cannot synchronize subscribed folders... Cannot connect to the server") Outgoing: 0x80042109 ("Outlook cannot connect to your outgoing SMTP email server") What's happened so far: Support from the DNS provider suggested changing the MX record, which fixed outbound but then broke incoming mail (turned out there was a missing DNS record). They then advised either reverting the change or adding the missing record, plus separately hardcoding the mail settings on the account holder's devices to point directly at the email host's server to prevent future disconnects. I have the full support thread with exact troubleshooting steps and can share it. What we want to happen: Fix the current send/receive issue properly (not just patch it) — including checking mailbox storage, confirming DNS/MX is correctly configured, and getting devices set up so this stops happening Advise us on whether to consolidate everything (DNS, email, maybe registrar too) under one provider to avoid this multi-provider tangle going forward If we migrate email providers, make sure existing mail (all folders/history) is preserved, not lost Ideally, become our ongoing point of contact for this domain — website, email, DNS — so if something breaks again, we have one trusted person to call I have screenshots of every error, the full support thread, and domain records ready to share. Happy to hop on a call to walk through it, or send everything over in writing first — whatever's easier for you to scope this properly.
