I’m currently transitioning my entire editing workflow from CapCut Desktop to DaVinci Resolve Studio, and I’m looking for someone experienced with both programs who can help me recreate my existing editing style. I already know exactly how I want my videos to look. I’m not looking for someone to edit my videos for me. Instead, I’m looking for someone who can hop on a live call (Zoom, Discord, Google Meet, etc.) for a couple of hours and teach me how to recreate my existing workflow inside DaVinci Resolve. What I need help with 1. Matching my CapCut color grading I already have a specific look that I use in CapCut, and I want to recreate that exact look in DaVinci Resolve. This includes: * Matching the overall color grading * Recreating the same contrast, saturation, and overall image quality * Understanding why CapCut’s footage looks different than the raw footage in DaVinci 2. Recreating CapCut’s “Adapt” look When I import footage into CapCut, it automatically applies its Adapt processing, which makes my footage look noticeably better than it does when imported directly into DaVinci Resolve. I need help figuring out how to recreate that same result inside DaVinci Resolve. 3. Recreating my typography I’ve built a typography style in CapCut that I want to recreate in DaVinci Resolve. I need help: * Matching the fonts * Animations * Motion * Timing * Overall look and feel The goal is for my typography to look as close as possible to what I’ve already built in CapCut. What I’m looking for * Someone with advanced DaVinci Resolve experience * Ideally someone familiar with CapCut Desktop as well * Comfortable teaching through a live screen-sharing session * Able to explain why things are done—not just click buttons * Patient and able to answer questions while we build my workflow together Goal By the end of the session, I want to have a DaVinci Resolve workflow that matches the editing quality I’ve already achieved in CapCut so I can eventually transition away from CapCut completely while maintaining the same visual style. If you’ve done this type of workflow before, I’d love to see examples of your work or hear about your experience.

Palo Alto High School's award-winning Madrigal Singers are seeking a creative scriptwriter for our annual Madrigal Dinner, to be performed in early December 2026. The production is a long-standing tradition featuring music, comedy, and theatrical storytelling set in the court of King Henry VIII. Each year's script is original, typically centering on one of Henry's queens while weaving together historical characters, comedy, and a lighthearted plot. The script consists of eight short scenes (approximately 5–8 minutes each) that are performed between musical selections. The scenes introduce the main characters, advance the story, and provide opportunities for humor while allowing for smooth transitions into the music. This year's theme is: RenAIssance The script should embrace the intersection of the Renaissance and artificial intelligence. While the setting is Tudor England, our productions traditionally welcome playful anachronisms, modern references, and creative departures from historical accuracy. We are looking for a writer who can balance witty dialogue, memorable characters, and a cohesive story with broad audience appeal. We're looking for someone who can: Create engaging comedic dialogue and memorable characters. Write an overarching story that unfolds over eight short scenes. Blend historical settings with contemporary humor. Incorporate the 2026 theme, RenAIssance, in an imaginative and entertaining way. Write with high school performers in mind while appealing to audiences of all ages. Deliverables Complete script consisting of eight scenes. Character list. Stage directions and production notes as needed. Final script delivered by the last week of October 2026, allowing time for rehearsals and revisions. CompensationPlease include your proposed fee, examples of previous writing (if available), and a brief description of your experience with comedy, theatre, or historical storytelling. We welcome submissions from playwrights, comedy writers, screenwriters, educators, and anyone with a passion for creating smart, entertaining live theatre.

That said, we believe the August 7 event should provide more than enough footage. What we’d like to capture Jumbotron activation Fan/street interviews Press event(6-7pm before the game stats at 7pm) B-roll around the stadium Deliverables One 30-second promotional video following our script (we’d love your creative feedback and suggestions as well) and all raw footage Ideally, you’d also be able to take a selection of high-quality event photos for us to use in PR, social media, and marketing materials.
