The hopper was originally designed for a lower seismic region. A previous structural analysis indicates that modifications are required to satisfy the higher seismic requirements for the new installation. The engineer will review the existing design, determine the required structural modifications, perform all necessary calculations, produce stamped engineering drawings and calculations, and provide construction details for fabrication.
