I'm looking for a talented graphic designer to become a long-term extension of my team. As a designer myself, I handle the creative direction and client communication, but I’m looking for someone who can support me with the production and execution side of projects. Most projects are for corporate clients, nonprofits, universities, etc. The design style for these clients typically leans toward clean, modern, and professional rather than highly creative. ⚡️ Projects may include: • Brochures, annual reports, and other print materials • PowerPoint presentations • Marketing collateral • Social media graphics • Websites • Signage, booths, and environmental design • General production design ⚡️ What to Expect For each project, I'll provide: • A clear creative brief • Design direction and reference examples • Brand assets and guidelines • A realistic timeline and estimated hours • Feedback throughout the project Your role is to turn that direction into polished, high-quality designs while communicating clearly and meeting deadlines. ⚡️ What I'm Looking For • Strong graphic design skills with an excellent eye for typography, spacing, and layout • Detail-oriented • Able to follow brand guidelines while producing polished, professional work • Strong communication skills and timely responses • Reliable and consistent with deadlines • Comfortable receiving feedback and making revisions • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop) ⚡️ This Could Be a Great Fit If... • You enjoy clean, modern, professional design. • You take pride in delivering high-quality work. • You're looking for an ongoing working relationship, not just one-off projects. • You're dependable, organized, and easy to work with. ⚡️ Scope & Timeline • Work will be project-based, so the workload will vary. Some weeks may include multiple projects, while others may have none. • I'm looking to hire someone within the next week or two, with the first projects expected to begin shortly after.

We are a small non profit with big plans and a great story. We rely on a tech/data driven approach to fight food insecurity and hunger. You can learn more about us at www.SimpleGesture.org. We need a grant writer that can find the grants, apply for them, and get us the funding we need to continue growth. At first glance, it’s very simple. That’s why we call it “A Simple Gesture”. We register donors to leave a bag of food on their doorstep, and volunteer drivers take that food to an area food bank or pantry. Simple. But what’s behind it is hardly simple. We’ve written a Web App that automates everything. These programs have been around since 2010, and between ‘A Simple Gesture’, ‘Porch Communities’ and “Neighborhood Food Project’ they have brought in over 4.5 million pounds. There are about 115 of them. The problem is they take 40+ hours to organize a single months event. We call this a ‘barrier of entry’. It stops new chapters from giving it a try. Our App reduces the time to about an hour. By removing the barrier we hope to start 950 chapters and raise over 400 million pounds of food per year. We’ve already started 18 chapters, and 2 existing chapters are using our app. Since just last October we have brought in over 120,000 lbs. of food. Here is the core to our grant ask; We now know it costs us about $16 to on-board and support a donor for 5 years (5 years is the average time a donor stays in the program). And that average donor will provide $1100 of food. That’s a 1:68 ratio of $1 to $68 in real food value. The way we describe it to donors is; if you give a pantry $10, they can probably buy $25 of food at wholesale. If you give us that same $10 we build a food machine that keeps on giving. We can turn your $10 into $680. We need funding to expand. For now, we need funding to grow the program in Northern California, but by mid ‘27 we want to be expanding throughout the entire country.
