I am needing to have a draft analysis made for my NFL Fantasy league, pulling this weekend. I've seen ESPN and Yahoo sports stats plus I follow the NFL to some degree, but I need to have an up to the minute (no injured) player listings with the top 12 prospects listed in each position (we have 12 guys) and some strategies about whom to pick first and in which round, according to position, contribution, etc. I require this completed by (Thurs) p.m. 8/27 or at latest Fri 8/28. Quality and current player knowledge is key, but mid - lower hourly bids are fair to this job and I'm estimating it to take about 1 hour to 1.5.

We’re looking to grow our roster of talented outdoor writers to contribute to our digital hunting and fishing publication, The Upland Soul. We’re after a memorable short story, article, or personal anecdote from your experiences in the field or on the water. We don’t want a sterile, SEO-packed blog post—we want something that feels like you're sitting around the campfire telling a story. We’re after good, creative, artistic writing. We are also interested in publishing more work on wildlife conservation in the Western US, so please pitch us if you have something to share that agrees with our platform. You don’t need to be a hardcore hunter or lifelong angler. You just need a meaningful story or perspective to share. In your proposal, please tell us: - What you'd like to write about - A little about your background in the outdoors - If you have one or more quality photos to accompany your story (not required, just an added bonus if you do) - If selected, you’ll receive full author credit for your writing and any photos used. We’ll also link to your personal website, book, or portfolio if you’d like. We have great relationships with our contributing writers, and are specifically looking to build long-term relationships with those that we work with and help platform great outdoor writers. This is not a ghostwriting gig—you’ll be credited as the author. We WANT to platform great writers. Our writers contract that governs all of our content can be found here: https://theuplandsoul.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/writers-contract-11262025.pdf In the past, we've generally leaned towards things set in the Western US, but are now looking to expand our niche from coast to coast; all of America. Before applying, feel free to look around our website, theuplandsoul.com to get a feel for what we’re about. Our slogan is "Real voices of hunting, fishing, and the great outdoors." If that sounds like something you want to be a part of, we’d love to hear from you. Also, for the love of God, NO AI. Do NOT use AI to write your cover letter, either. It's obvious and extremely off-putting and you should be ashamed of yourself for even considering this. Basic Deliverables: • - At least 600 words of original, non-AI-generated content on an agreed-upon topic • - Delivered in .odt, .docx, or other Word-compatible file • - A short bio (a few sentences) in the same document for your author byline • - Photo of yourself for your bio • - Any photos to accompany your article, if applicable (.jpeg or .png format)

I am an established independent romance author looking for an experienced, detail-oriented proofreader and final cold reader for an ongoing publishing relationship. My manuscripts have already been professionally copyedited before they reach you. I am not looking for another copy editor or line editor. I need a meticulous final set of eyes before publication. What I'm Looking For You will proofread completed contemporary romance manuscripts for: * Typos, spelling errors, missing or duplicated words * Grammar and punctuation errors that survived the copyedit * Dialogue punctuation and quotation issues * Incorrect names or word usage * Small formatting inconsistencies * Accidental repetition * Continuity errors * Timeline or factual inconsistencies within the manuscript * Other details that may have slipped through previous editing passes I also want you to read with a reader's eye. If something does not make sense, contradicts something stated earlier, appears to be an accidental inconsistency, or is likely to confuse a reader, please flag it in a comment. This is not a developmental edit. I do not need extensive opinions about the plot, character arcs, or how you would rewrite the story. I am looking for someone who knows the difference between correcting an error and changing an author's voice. Genre The books are commercial contemporary romance, including sports/hockey romance and other romance subgenres like mafia. The manuscripts contain profanity, mature themes, and explicit sexual content. You must be comfortable reading and working with this material. Being an active reader of contemporary romance is a major advantage. Workflow You will receive a Microsoft Word manuscript that has already been through copyediting. Please: * Make corrections using Track Changes * Use comments when something requires the author's attention rather than simply correcting it * Preserve the author's established voice and style * Provide a short set of final reader notes identifying any larger inconsistencies or concerns you noticed while reading Typical manuscripts are approximately 70,000–100,000 words. This is intended to be an ongoing relationship, with multiple manuscripts per year, so reliability, communication, and the ability to meet agreed deadlines are important. Rate Target rate is approximately $0.003 USD per word. Paid Test Shortlisted applicants will be invited to complete the same paid 2,500–3,000-word proofreading test before I select the long-term proofreader. The test will be paid at a fixed rate of $15. When Applying Please complete the screening questions included with this posting. I am looking for someone meticulous, dependable, easy to work with, and interested in becoming a regular part of my publishing process.

I’m looking for an experienced full-stack developer to help improve an existing React Native mobile app and build a modern web platform for the same product. The mobile app is already live on the App Store, and I’m looking to modernize the UI/UX, improve the overall user experience, and add new features over time. Alongside the app, I need a responsive website where users can learn about the platform, create accounts, subscribe, and manage their information through a secure dashboard. The platform is focused on amateur basketball leagues and will continue to grow, so I’m looking for someone who can build with scalability and maintainability in mind rather than simply delivering a one-time project. I’m looking for a developer who: * Has strong experience with React Native and modern web development * Is comfortable working with Firebase and subscription-based applications * Writes clean, scalable, well-documented code * Uses modern AI development tools (such as Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot, etc.) to work efficiently * Can communicate clearly and contribute to technical decisions This has the potential to become a long-term working relationship as the platform continues to expand. My goal is to find someone who can initially build the next phase of the product and potentially continue as the technical lead as we grow.

ABOUT OTIS EDGE ANALYTICS: Otis Edge Analytics is a growing sports analytics, betting education, and media brand. We create short-form content designed to educate, entertain, and build trust with sports bettors across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. We are looking for an experienced social media manager and short-form video editor who genuinely understands the sports betting niche. This is not a one-time editing project. Our goal is to find a trusted long-term content partner who can become our go-to person for everything related to social media and content. THE ROLE: The ideal workflow would be: 1. You research the sports betting market, current trends, major stories, competitors, and successful content formats. 2. You provide me with video ideas, hooks, scripts, and clear recording instructions. 3. I record the raw footage and send it to you. 4. You edit the footage into polished, high-retention short-form content. 5. You provide the finished video, caption, title, call to action, hashtags, and posting recommendations. 6. You track the results and use the data to improve future content. My goal is for recording the videos to be the primary responsibility left on my end. I want someone who can eventually take ownership of nearly everything else in the content process. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Research sports betting trends, news, conversations, and content opportunities * Study successful creators, companies, and content formats within the sports betting space * Develop original video ideas, hooks, scripts, and recurring content series * Turn raw talking-head footage into engaging Instagram Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts * Add captions, graphics, sound effects, B-roll, transitions, pattern interruptions, and other retention-focused elements * Maintain consistent Otis Edge branding across all content * Write natural captions, titles, calls to action, and relevant hashtags * Recommend posting times, content formats, and platform-specific adjustments * Track views, watch time, retention, engagement, shares, saves, follower growth, and other relevant performance metrics * Identify which topics, hooks, editing styles, and formats are performing best * Provide regular performance reports and clear recommendations * Build a repeatable content system that can scale as the company grows * Stay aware of social media policies and responsible marketing standards related to sports betting content SPORTS BETTING KNOWLEDGE IS ESSENTIAL: We are not looking for a generic editor who needs every sports betting term explained. You should already understand concepts such as: * Moneylines, spreads, totals, units, bankroll management, parlays, value, and betting odds * Sportsbook culture and the language used by sports bettors online * Major U.S. sports, leagues, seasons, and content opportunities * The difference between educational sports betting content and low-quality “lock” or gimmick content * What feels authentic to a sports betting audience and what feels forced Previous experience working with a sports betting, sports media, fantasy sports, sports analytics, or related brand is strongly preferred. IDEAL CANDIDATE: * Proven experience managing and growing social media accounts * Strong short-form video editing portfolio * Excellent understanding of hooks, pacing, retention, storytelling, and audience psychology * Able to write scripts and captions that sound natural, human, and specific to the brand * Comfortable reviewing social media analytics and making decisions based on performance data * Proactive and capable of bringing ideas without waiting for constant direction * Reliable, organized, responsive, and able to meet deadlines * Available for consistent communication during U.S. working hours * Familiar with the sports betting social media landscape * Interested in learning the Otis Edge brand deeply and growing with the company long term Individuals and small specialized teams are both welcome to apply. However, teams must provide one clear point of contact who will learn our brand, manage the relationship, and oversee the work. LONG-TERM OPPORTUNITY: We will likely begin with a paid trial project to evaluate: * Sports betting knowledge * Quality of ideas and scripts * Editing ability * Communication * Turnaround time * Understanding of the Otis Edge brand The right candidate will receive consistent ongoing work and increasing ownership of our content strategy and social media operation. We are not looking for someone who simply completes editing assignments. We want a creative and strategic partner who can eventually become our trusted person for everything social media.
