Remote (US) | $600–$1,200/month DOE | Independent Contractor (1099) | Part-Time, Flexible Schedule ABOUT THE BRAND We're about to launch a brand-new wellness brand, and we're looking for the right freelancer to help build its social presence at an early, high-momentum stage. The product is a brain health supplement formulated by a PhD neuroscientist, paired with simple daily practices for calm, focus, emotional balance, and long-term brain health—all built on the idea that you shouldn't have to overhaul your life or become a different person to feel more capable in it. We're looking for someone who gets genuinely excited about that—not a social media generalist looking for another client, but someone who's already living and breathing the wellness space, who can hear a founder's raw idea or read his notes and think, "I know exactly how to make that click for someone scrolling at 11pm." If you want to help shape the voice and system behind a brand this well-developed, from as close to day one as it gets, this is that opportunity. THE ROLE We’re looking for a Social Media Manager that can be the strategic social media expert, copywriter, and brand voice for the brand on social media. Your core mission is to build a high-converting, sustainable content engine that translates complex, PhD-backed neuroscience concepts into engaging, human, clear social content—driving viral views, increased brand awareness, email signups, and brand growth while keeping direct founder involvement down to a couple of hours per week. WHAT YOU'LL DO Strategy & Content Calendar: Plan and manage the monthly social content calendar across Instagram, Stories, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn. Founder Direction & Shot Lists: You're the social media brain here—the founder is the expert, but you're the one who thinks in content. Take his raw ideas, voice memos, and scientific insights (plus what you're seeing work for competitors and in our own performance data) and turn them into clear content concepts, hooks, and structured weekly shot lists that tell him exactly what to film and why. Copywriting & SEO: Write high-converting hooks, video text overlays, captions, and search-optimized hashtags tailored for health/wellness audiences. Community Management & Engagement: Serve as the active, human voice of the brand in comments and DMs, fostering high-quality engagement and audience connection (~2–3 hrs/week, on your own schedule). Content Data Analysis: Analyze monthly performance data to refine strategy and share learnings with the founder and content creator. Async Workspace Communication: Communicate seamlessly with the founder and team via Slack. SCOPE & DELIVERABLES Monthly content calendar plan: concepts for 20 posts/month, primarily for Instagram, with a light plan for adapting each for TikTok and YouTube Shorts - Shot lists/direction for the founder (talking head or b-roll) - Creative direction for the content creator on bringing concepts to life Weekly copy: captions, scripts, text overlays, hashtags for 5 IG posts, 3 LinkedIn adaptations, 3–5 Stories Light daily/weekly community management and proactive niche outreach Monthly performance report with actionable next steps WHO YOU ARE You don't just execute—you’re a strategic thinker. If a post isn't landing or an idea isn't quite right, you'll say so. We'd rather have someone with a point of view that will push back when things don’t feel right for social, than someone who just wants to be told what to do. We’re seeking a social expert here that enjoys driving that ship. You know the wellness space—you live it yourself, or you've worked deeply in it, and you get why this mission matters, not just how to run a content calendar for it. You're a hook wizard. You know how to capture attention without being clickbaity, and you write warm, expert, non-preachy copy that converts. You know how to build trust, not just buzz. In a space like this, credibility comes from evidence and expertise, not hype—you know how to fold in the founder's scientific background and third-party proof in a way that builds real trust over time. You love social SEO & analytics—you know what gets seen, what earns saves/shares over vanity reach, and how to turn performance data into a repeatable playbook. You're a pro at translating expertise into content—when a founder talks, your brain already knows how to turn that into a strong hook and a scroll-stopping post. You're comfortable jumping in creatively when needed—beyond strategy and copy, you're capable of putting together content yourself (editing video or creating graphics from brand templates in Canva) if the moment calls for it. If you’re comfortable being on camera or shooting simple b-roll (a coffee ritual, a wellness moment) too, and have work samples to show your chops here, this is a big plus, though not required. You're familiar with regulatory considerations for wellness/supplement claims and/or can learn, and be sure to follow the rules, without the founder having to remind you every time. You operate independently once you're ramped up. We’ll onboard you into the science, voice, and vision. You will have a robust strategy to drive your work—from there, you run your own calendar without needing to be managed day to day. You operate as a registered business entity (LLC, Corporation, or registered Sole Proprietorship) with a valid business license where required, and/or hold an EIN. WHEN APPLYING, PLEASE INCLUDE: 1. A link to view your portfolio, website, or live links to published posts you personally executed (with notes on what your role was in creating each post), including examples of social copy/scripts you've written, and (optional) a content calendar or campaign plan you've built. 2. Your proposed monthly project rate for the monthly deliverables listed in the contract opportunity description above.

We're looking for a sharp, culturally-tuned Video Editor & Social Media Manager to own the day-to-day content engine for the company brand. This is an ongoing, part-time role (roughly 20 hours per week) for someone who lives on social media, knows what's trending this week, and can turn raw footage into scroll-stopping short-form video - then get it posted on schedule across platforms without being micromanaged. What you will do: -Edit short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) that feel current, fast, and interesting — good pacing, captions, hooks, trending audio, and on-brand styling Take raw clips and talking-head footage and turn them into finished, ready-to-post pieces -Build and manage a posting schedule across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, etc.) and publish consistently -Keep brand voice distinct but coordinated -Stay on top of trends, sounds, and formats and proactively suggest ideas we should jump on -Keep content organized and the calendar full so we are never scrambling What we're looking for: -Proven short-form video editing skills — please share a portfolio or reel of work you've actually edited -Real experience managing and scheduling social media for a brand (or brands) -A strong instinct for what performs and what's trending, not just technical editing -Reliable, self-directed, and communicative — you can run with direction and hit a consistent posting cadence -Bonus: experience with a scheduling tool (Later, Metricool, Buffer, Sprout, etc.) and basic motion/caption design Details: ~20 hours/week, ongoing Remote Long-term fit preferred — we want someone to grow with these brands, not a one-off To apply, send a short note about your editing style, links to short-form work you've edited, and which scheduling tools you use. Tell us one trend or format you think a legal/relationship-focused brand should be using right now.

I'm opening a boutique Pilates studio in Parker, CO, and I'm looking for a social media manager to help build buzz ahead of launch and then maintain a consistent, on-brand presence once we're open. Brand voice: premium but approachable — earthy, organic, feminine and cool without being try-hard. Not loud, not gimmicky. Think elevated wellness, not generic fitness-studio content. Scope: - Content creation and editing for Instagram (Reels, carousels, stories) — TikTok a plus if you have strong instincts there - Executing against a content calendar and priority messaging that I'll provide - Trend-aware ideas, but filtered through our brand tone, not chasing every trend Not in scope: comment/DM community engagement (I'm handling that myself for now). How I work: I want to stay in the loop and approve content before it goes out, especially early on, but I'm looking for someone who brings real creative judgment, not just execution. Professional studio photography is being scheduled soon, so you'll have real assets to work with beyond phone content. Please share examples of accounts you've grown or managed, ideally in fitness, wellness, or boutique/hospitality spaces.

Repurposed content that hits: turn podcasts, videos, and raw assets into short-form with strong hooks and native storytelling. 3. I am the Founder of Be Whole Do Good, a Christ-centered family program focused on character formation and whole-person wellbeing for families. You can learn more about us at bewholedogood.com. We're looking for an ongoing, long-term social media manager to help refine our strategy and run day-to-day execution for our brand. This is a relaunch situation: we previously grew a following, then rebranded and cleared out old content, so you'll essentially be building a new account on Instagram and Facebook, with a strong case for adding TikTok and any other platform where our audience is and content can be efficiently repurposed. What you'd be doing: - Help refine and evolve our overall social media strategy, with an eye toward what's working in the space and how to adapt best practices to our specific brand and voice - Take raw content I record on a regular basis and turn it into finished posts — this includes video editing and creating/using templates for graphics - Refine copy for certain templatized post types (I'll provide original material and direction; you'll help polish or produce copy for the recurring formats) - Manage the full content calendar — scheduling, posting, and proactively following up with me to make sure I'm delivering content on time - Plan and post a daily mix of reels, carousels, and static posts - Periodically take on other graphic design work outside of social — one-pagers, slide decks, etc. Bring fresh thinking on ways to reach our audience with value first, growing exposure and driving sign-ups for our membership as a result What we're looking for: - Real social media strategy experience, not just execution — someone who can both spot ways to improve our approach and carry out a plan - Strong video editing and graphic design (templates, one-pagers, decks) skills - Solid copywriting instincts, especially for short-form social captions - Someone who stays current on evolving best practices and brings new ideas back to us regularly - Very responsive and easy to communicate with - Comfortable helping shape a voice that stays authentic to us rather than generic or overly templated (and that never feels AI) How we like to work: - This is meant to be a long-term, ongoing relationship, not a one-off project - I'll provide the raw material (video, ideas, direction) regularly — you own turning it into polished, scheduled content - Communication and reliability matter as much as skill — we need someone who follows up, flags what they need from us, and keeps things moving without a lot of chasing One more thing that matters to us: our mission is central to what we do, and we want to work with someone who genuinely connects with it. Please take a look at bewholedogood.com before applying, and in your application, share YOUR thoughts on our mission and what we offer (not AI's thoughts), and how it does or doesn't align with something you personally care about. We're not looking for a sales pitch, just a genuine reflection.
