VOARVUE Media is a media production and marketing company. We're looking for a web designer to add to our trusted freelancer bench — not a single project, but someone we come back to whenever a client needs website work. Some months there may be nothing; other months there may be a full site build or several landing pages at once. What this typically looks like: Marketing/brokerage websites built in WordPress Standalone landing pages built inside GoHighLevel (GHL) for specific campaigns or offers Scope varies significantly project to project — sometimes a single landing page, sometimes a full multi-page site What matters most to us: Strong working knowledge of WordPress (theme customization — Elementor, Divi, or similar page builders; we're not typically looking for custom PHP development) Comfortable building inside GoHighLevel's landing page/funnel builder Real SEO knowledge — on-page SEO, technical basics, site structure Genuine familiarity with AI search / answer engine optimization (how sites get surfaced in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and similar AI-driven search) — this is a real differentiator for us and not something we expect every applicant to have, but it's a strong plus if you do Clean, fast-loading, mobile-first design — our clients' customers are often browsing on a phone, on a boat, with weak signal Working relationship: We're looking to build a long-term freelance relationship, not fill a one-off gig. If the first project goes well, expect repeat work as our client roster grows. To Apply Please include: 2–3 examples of WordPress sites or GHL landing pages you've built — links preferred A brief note on your SEO approach, and if applicable, how you think about AI search / answer engine visibility Your typical hourly rate and general availability/turnaround time

WordPress security and maintenance This is the core of the role and the reason it exists. We need someone who is comfortable keeping our site safe and up to date so we are never worrying about it. Updates: Review and apply plugin, theme, and core updates on a regular cadence, testing so nothing breaks. Security: Monitor for vulnerabilities and act on them quickly and confidently. WordPress design and modernization Beyond keeping the lights on, we want our pages to feel more dynamic and modern. Pages: Design and build new pages and refresh existing ones to feel current and engaging. Layout: Improve layout, visual hierarchy, and responsiveness across devices. Brand: Keep everything consistent with the MontyCloud brand (colors, type, logo usage). 3. Design Visuals We regularly produce sales, partner, and marketing assets and want them to look sharp. Paid Social Ads: Design and build ads for social media platforms. 3D Environmental Design: Any tradeshow event designing is a plus. What we're looking for Hands-on WordPress experience, including confidently managing plugin and theme updates and site security. A strong design eye for modern web layouts and clean presentation design. Comfort working independently on a small, predictable set of recurring tasks. Clear communication and reliable turnaround. Nice to have Experience with WordPress and basic HTML and CSS. Familiarity with B2B or technology brands. Tools you'll use You should be comfortable in these, or able to get up to speed quickly: WordPress: Our website is built on a template from Wordpress. Adobe Creative Cloud: Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign for design work and polished graphics. Canva: For quick, on-brand graphics and lighter creative. Figma: Nice to have for mockups before building. Engagement details Type: Contract, part-time, remote. Commitment: Ongoing, with a light and predictable monthly commitment (estimated 1-2 hours per week, scaling up for design projects as needed). I'm launching a Pen Pal matching service. The goal of this website is to collect survey responses and emails, as well as cc info but not payment - awaiting launch. I'm currently designing several landing page concepts in Canva that I'd like to see translated into Wordpress. Along with the LPs I'll need a few additional pages (about us, FAQ etc.), nothing too advanced. The LP will have. CTA driving to a survey, which then needs to collect emails, hook into something like a Zapier, and also to something like Stripe for payment. Open to advice on the tech stack. My goal is to have a simple website in Wordpress, a basic tech stack that collects emails and payments, using a theme and plugins that I can then manage. These sites are for testing and establishing PMF, so they shouldn't be too complex at the start. potentially if I find PMF I'll need a backend that users can log into, but that's not for launch. I'd like to get a firm sense that you (not AI - you) have read this description fully. To that effect, I'd like any responses to include at least two relevant examples of simple pre-launch or 'coming soon' style websites that you've built, and what you learned about how that process differs from developing for an existing product. I would also like your response to address how you leave the project in a way that a non-technical but somewhat savvy founder can easily modify it moving forward. how do you keep things simple and flexible?
