I'm a product review content creator in the home, bathroom, kitchen, and organization niche, and I'm looking for someone creative to turn my existing product review videos into engaging Instagram carousels and post them once a day to my instagram account. Here's the setup: I have a Google Drive folder already filled with video reviews I've filmed of popular Amazon products in the home, bathroom, kitchen, organization niche. Your job would be to go through my drive and pull short snippets from those videos and usually around 5-10 seconds each, add a brief text overlay about the product, and turn them into an Instagram carousel featuring about 10 to 15 products your pulled from the drive per post. The carousel wouldn't require any editing of the current voiceovers in my videos in the drive because for carousels, I pair them with upbeat, trending music from Instagram's library when posting. You'll have creative freedom to come up with a theme for each carousel, and that's the fun part. I'll post a few examples below to give you a general idea of the style I'm going for, but I want someone who brings their own ideas and eye for what makes people stop scrolling. https://www.instagram.com/p/DcBlB_FEW2X/?igsh=MWNrZHR4eXhicWVuYw== https://www.instagram.com/p/DcL4CFeEYTI/?igsh=djd5aWZmeDRtZHlm https://www.instagram.com/p/DcGeEEJm1yU/?igsh=MzE4NG1sNmRjOXM0 https://www.instagram.com/p/Dbx5mmAkaNd/?igsh=d3U3OTk5MG5kcDB3 https://www.instagram.com/p/DbN7YBfDh5e/?igsh=ZnB1MjRoOGdpczM0 Day to day, you'd: -Pull snippets from my existing review videos (provided via Google Drive) -Design themed Instagram carousels featuring 10 to 15 products, with a short text overlay on each -Post the finished carousels to my Instagram via user access, paired with upbeat music from Instagram's library -Create a Canva collage showcasing the same 10 to 15 products from the carousel, and post it to my Amazon storefront to make it easy for my followers to shop the post. -Set up a comment-to-DM automation (using the link automation service I already use) that sends product links to anyone who comments on the carousel post to the collage in my Amazon storefront you created. This is perfect for someone who's not afraid to try new things. Not every carousel will perform well, and that's completely fine. There's no pressure to go viral. The goal is simply to have someone willing to experiment with fresh carousels every day and see what sticks. I currently do this task myself but want to get some fresh eyes. This is a freelance/independent contractor role. I'd like to start with a small paid trial or per-project basis so we can both see if it's a good fit. If it goes well, there's real potential for ongoing work, though this posting doesn't guarantee any set volume, hours, or long-term commitment on either side. Please note that this is a work-made-for-hire role: everything the contractor creates for this project, including all carousels, collages, video edits, text overlays, stories, and any other assets, is owned exclusively by my business, with all rights fully transferred to me upon payment. The contractor may display the work in a personal portfolio to showcase their skills, but retains no ownership and may not resell, license, or otherwise reuse the deliverables. If this sounds like you, please apply!

Part-time, ~10 hrs/week to start | Ongoing role We're Magnetot — three dads launching a magnetic pacifier system that solves the lost-pacifier problem every parent knows. Product is tested, manufacturing is committed, and pre-orders open in the next few weeks. We need someone to run our social presence on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. What you'll do: - Execute an existing 6-week content calendar (concepts, captions, and visual direction already built — you make it happen) - Edit short vertical videos (CapCut or similar) and simple graphics (Canva) from footage we provide - Schedule and post natively across all three platforms - Reply to comments and DMs daily — community is a core part of this role - Help build the next calendar once launch is behind us What we provide: all raw footage and photos, brand guidelines, the full calendar and playbook, and fast decisions from founders who actually respond. You: have run social for a consumer brand before (bonus: baby/parenting space), edit video confidently, write captions that sound human, and can work without hand-holding. Comfortable with AI tools is a plus. This starts as a 30-day trial with clear expectations. If it works, we grow it — we're building this company for the long haul and want someone who grows with it. To apply, skip the generic proposal and answer this instead: a brand-new baby brand with zero followers opens pre-orders in 3 weeks. What are the first two things you'd post, and why?

ABOUT US indie.biz is a small, dynamic company building business literacy and education products for the millions of Americans who work for themselves—freelancers, solo operators, and small business owners. Our flagship course, "What is Business?" is in market now, and our founder's book, Unfinished Business: A New Story for a New Era of Human Flourishing, publishes this summer. You'll work directly with the founder, Michael Megalli (25 years in brand strategy for clients like Microsoft, MasterCard, Google, and IBM; faculty at UW Foster School of Business), and have real creative ownership from day one. THE WORK This is a hands-on production and execution role. You'll be making things—posts, captions, short videos, newsletter sends, audience-building experiments—and helping figure out what works. Responsibilities: - Produce social content for Instagram and LinkedIn, with Substack as a secondary channel (carousels, short videos, single-image posts, longer-form LinkedIn writing) - Work from established content pillars and an existing visual system—no blank page, but your creative instincts will shape what gets made - Promote two main products: the "What is Business?" course and this summer's book launch - Use AI tools intelligently—Claude for ideation and copy, Hera.ai for motion, Figma for visual production (we'll teach what you don't know) - Track analytics and report back what's working - Manage the publishing schedule and community responses IDEAL FREELANCER - Curious about business, work, and how people make a living on their own terms - Strong creative instinct and design eye—you notice when type is the wrong size or a caption runs a beat too long - Deep familiarity with how Instagram and LinkedIn actually work right now—what formats perform, what feels authentic vs. forced - Strong writing instincts—you can match a brand voice and spot clunky copy - Comfortable with Figma (or similar), a video/motion tool like CapCut or Canva, and open to AI tools - Reliable—we're a small team; if you say it ships Thursday, it ships Thursday DETAILS - 10–15 hours per week, ongoing - $25/hour - Mostly remote; Seattle-based freelancers preferred, but not required. - Real responsibility from day one—your work will be in market within your first week TO APPLY In your proposal, please include: 1. A short note on why this role interests you (skip the formal cover letter) 2. A link to your LinkedIn profile or CV 3. 3–5 examples of relevant work or a portfolio—doesn't need to be polished, but should show your eye and your voice Proposals that skip these three items won't move forward.

Mom Community Builder & Influencer Manager (Hands-On Execution Role) Who We Are We are a new family memory preservation platform built for the people who actually hold families together — moms. We help families capture, organize, and pass down the moments that matter, turning everyday photos, videos, and stories into living heirlooms. We're pre-launch and moving fast toward a major consumer launch. This role is a founding seat on the growth team. The Role We're hiring a doer, not a deck-maker. You will personally live inside the mom corners of Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook every single day — DMing creators, replying to comments, joining mom groups, building real relationships with mom influencers from nano to macro, and turning those relationships into partnerships, content, and downloads. Strategy input is welcome. But if your favorite part of marketing is "thinking about the funnel," this is not your job. If your favorite part is being in the DMs at 9pm because a creator with 40K engaged mom followers just replied, keep reading. What You'll Actually Do (Daily) Influencer outreach at volume. Source, vet, and personally reach out to mom creators (nano → mid-tier) across Instagram and TikTok. Manage the pipeline from first DM to signed collab to posted content. Own the relationships. Be the name mom creators know at our company. Negotiate deliverables, ship product/assets, handle follow-ups, and keep partners genuinely excited. Live in the communities. Participate authentically in mom Facebook groups, comment sections, and niche communities (faith-based, homeschool, milestone-mom, memory-keeping, and more). Know the inside jokes, the trends, and the trusted voices before anyone else does. Engage from our accounts. Reply to every comment and DM, jump on trends fast, and make our social presence feel like a friend, not a brand. Coordinate creator content. Brief creators, review drafts, track posting schedules, and repurpose winning content across our channels. Track and report what works. Maintain the outreach tracker, log conversion by creator tier and community, and tell us where to double down — with receipts, not vibes. You're Probably a Fit If You have deep, lived fluency in mom social media culture — the creators, the communities, the aesthetics, the language, and what makes moms trust (or instantly distrust) a brand. Many of our strongest candidates will be moms themselves who are active in these communities. You have 2+ years of hands-on experience in influencer marketing, community management, or creator partnerships — ideally in a mom, parenting, family, or faith-adjacent niche. You can show us DM threads, creator relationships, or campaigns you personally ran (not oversaw). You're organized enough to manage 50+ creator conversations at once without dropping balls. You write like a human. Warm, quick, real. You're scrappy and self-directed — this is a startup, and no one will hand you a playbook. You leverage AI to outperform others. What This Role Is NOT It is not a social media strategy or brand consultant role. It is not managing an agency that does the work for you. It is not scheduling posts and calling it a day. Payment: Monthly retainer with meaningful monthly performance bonuses based on execution, the sky's the limit.

We're not looking for a "marketing person." We're looking for a BUILDER. Zen Roofing Co. is a fast-growing roofing company in the Boston area, and we're scaling FAST. We're building modern systems, modern branding, and a modern customer experience in an industry that's stuck in the past, and we need someone hungry to help us own the marketing engine that powers it. If you're in college (or just out), scrappy, self-directed, and looking for a real project to sink your teeth into and build your portfolio around, this is it. You won't be fetching coffee. You'll be running our marketing function. What You'll Own: Social Media — Build and manage a posting calendar across our channels. Create content, schedule it, grow it. Make Zen look as good online as we perform in the field. HubSpot Website — Manage and improve our HubSpot site. Keep it sharp, on-brand, and converting. Marketing Emails — Plan and execute email campaigns that actually get opened and drive action. Collateral — Design flyers, one-pagers, proposal graphics, and sales materials our team can use to close bigger jobs. Basically: if it's marketing, it's yours to run. Who You Are US-based (required) Hungry, resourceful, and excited by fast-moving, no-hand-holding environments Comfortable figuring things out, you Google it, you test it, you ship it Some familiarity with social platforms, basic design tools (Canva, Adobe, etc.), and/or HubSpot is a big plus, but attitude beats resume here Looking to build a real portfolio with real results, not busywork Flexible schedule, off-hours, evenings, weekends all totally fine. We care about output, not clock-in times Why This Role Is Different You'll get real ownership, real autonomy, and a founder who moves fast and wants a true partner in growth, not just a task-doer. This is a chance to build something from the ground up and point to real results: campaigns you launched, a site you improved, a brand presence you built. If you're the kind of person who gets a little too excited about a good marketing idea and wants to prove what you can do, we want to talk to you.
