Description: We're a US-based integrated digital marketing agency running Connected TV on MNTN Performance TV. We're looking for a practitioner to own CTV execution across our client accounts. The ideal candidate can run audience strategy, creative volume, and honest measurement. If your instinct is to treat CTV like a branding buy and report impressions, we're not a fit. We treat it as a performance channel and defend it with the same rigor as search and social. What you'll do: • Build, launch, and manage MNTN campaigns end to end across prospecting, retargeting, and CRM-matched audiences • Own audience strategy: MNTN Matched segments, first-party list onboarding, site retargeting, and audience sequencing • Manage creative rotation and testing — different lengths, hooks, and offers — and brief our team on what to produce next • Own tracking setup and QA: MNTN pixel, VISTA tags, GA4 integration via Measurement Protocol, and third-party measurement where clients use it • Run and interpret incrementality reporting, including MNTN's holdback methodology, and design supplementary geo or holdout tests when a client needs harder proof • Read Verified Visits critically. Reconcile platform-reported numbers against GA4, the client's backend, and any MMM or attribution tool in play — then explain the gap in plain language • Report on CTV's contribution to the full funnel, including halo effects on search and social • Report on performance in plain language — what happened, why, what's next — with an emphasis on revenue KPIs • Adhere to our strategy, testing, account set up best practices, and reporting templates • Collaborate with Agency POC to properly report back performance to clients • Attend select internal Agency weekly calls • Be available 9 am - 5 pm EST via Slack and email You're a fit if you have: • Direct hands-on experience running MNTN, or 3+ years in another performance CTV/streaming platform with transferable skills • Genuine attribution literacy. You understand view-through attribution, why platform-reported conversions run high, and how to set client expectations before a campaign launches rather than after • Direct-response orientation — you optimize toward CPA, ROAS, or cost per verified visit, not reach • Experience connecting CTV performance to downstream channels and defending methodology to skeptical clients • Clear, organized written communication for async work Nice to have: Experience with Triple Whale or other MMM tools; CTV creative production or QuickFrame experience; multi-account agency background; other CTV platforms for comparison

This is a standalone paid research interview—not an engineering design project, employment opportunity, lead-generation assignment, or sales pitch. I am seeking current or recent owners, principals, municipal market leaders, client-service leaders, or business-development leaders from small/midsize U.S. civil or municipal engineering consulting firms. To qualify, you must have personally participated before award in deciding whether to pursue a municipality or public utility that your firm had not previously served. The public agency must have been the firm’s direct engineering client. Experience serving private developers who needed municipal permits or approvals does not qualify. Preferred background: - Civil/municipal consulting firm with approximately 5–250 employees - Direct city, town, public-utility, or similar local public-agency clients - Public works, water/wastewater, transportation, traffic, stormwater, drainage, utilities, or related infrastructure - Personal participation in client development, pursuit qualification, or go/no-go decisions - Ability to discuss one specific occurrence from approximately the last two years The interview is 30 minutes. No preparation is required. I will not request client names, confidential information, engineering advice, or proprietary proposal material. Camera may remain off. With your explicit consent at the start of the call, I will record the audio solely to prepare an accurate research transcript. The recording will not be published or shared. Compensation is a $50 fixed-price Upwork contract, paid in full after the completed interview regardless of your opinions or whether the research hypothesis is supported. Please do not apply if your experience is limited to: - Municipal or public-agency employment without consulting-firm pursuit experience - Post-award design or project delivery - Residential/private-development engineering - Helping private clients obtain municipal approvals - Generic proposal writing without working inside a qualifying engineering firm
