I'm making a game and have zero talent for making art and usable UI/UX. I have something in place currently, but I'm looking for a professional to do it right. What to expect after: If the contract is completed with a satisfactory mockup/design, you'll be eligible for a follow-up contract in the coming months to begin development on the mockup/design. If you complete this contract with a less-than-satisfying design, the contract will be completed for you and you'll be paid. However, the contract will be reuploaded and you will not qualify for development or any further attempts. I am doing this as a way to gauge your creativity and skills What you will do The theme will be cyperpunk/circuit/future. You'll be expected to create a rough draft, a sketch, of multiple pages and states of a GUI. Then you are expected to sell it to me that your design is the best for users to use and look at. Expect to design the following pages and states: hotbars, inventory, preview panels, hover panels, shopping carts, game mode selection screen, and many more. Budget: Considering how you're only required to provide a sketch and explanation of your design, a minimum budget for the contract will be set. If you believe your sketch and design warrants a higher pay, that can be negotiated. The full contract will be ~$5k for ~150hrs worth of work. All assets and work must be ethically sourced; No AI assets and American contractors only.

# Shopify Designer for a Modern-Luxury Wine Brand — Taste First ## The project I'm launching a modern-luxury wine brand that should feel nothing like a typical wine site — editorial, confident, beautifully restrained. Closer to a high-end fragrance or fashion brand than a winery. Generous white space, gorgeous typography, restraint over decoration. The design should read as a deliberate choice, not a default. I care deeply about craft: spacing, type, the small details. **Reference sites I'm designing toward:** https://mirel.co · https://drinkavaline.com · https://www.aesop.com **Budget:** fixed price, paid across deliverable-based milestones. **Timeline:** kickoff July 31, live by August 21. ## Already done, so you can move fast - Logo and wine label — final - Brand colors, typography, and complete website copy — final and ready to drop in - One SKU at launch (a Pinot Noir); catalog grows to a handful over the next year, so the build should scale cleanly ## Scope A premium Shopify theme — recommended by you — customized far enough that it doesn't read as a recognizable template. - **Templates:** Home, Product (PDP), Founder's Story, standard policy pages, cart - **Sections:** Hero, Product, Founder's story, a simple "What's next" poll, "Join the club" email capture (Klaviyo) - Age verification + US alcohol shipping and state-restriction setup - App configuration and product upload (1 SKU) - AI-generated placeholder imagery, art-directed to match the brand — some may be swapped for photography later - Mobile-first, clean, fast-loading - QA across devices before launch ## Not in scope — please don't quote for these Custom theme from scratch or headless · loyalty points and member logins (later phase) · heavy scroll animations · SEO or marketing · payment gateway setup ## How I work Milestones are tied to **deliverable files, not activities** — a discovery summary document, a wireframe file, a theme preview link. Replies within one business day. One 15-minute sync per week. I'll provide a Shopify staff account with scoped permissions. ## To apply — please read this part carefully **1. Two or three portfolio links. Not more.** Live URLs only, no screenshots. **Sending a long list of stores will get your application declined** — I'm hiring on curation, not volume. For each link, tell me what your specific role was, and whether that client can be reached for a reference. **2. Name one theme you'd suggest for this brand — and one thing about that theme you'd have to work around.** I'm more interested in the second half of that answer than the first. **3. Have you built for a regulated category before** (alcohol, supplements, CBD)? If so: which age-gate or compliance apps have you used, and how do you handle multi-state shipping restrictions? **4. Your cost and timeline** for the scope above. ## Process I'll shortlist two designers for a **paid mini-brief — $250, 72 hours**: creative direction plus a homepage wireframe for this brand. The full project is awarded from that. Please don't send a template pitch. I'll be able to tell.
