Copywriter Job Description We’re looking for a strategic, conversion-focused Copywriter who can write in a clear, compelling brand voice and turn warm audiences into engaged leads, applicants, and clients. This role supports our education, coaching, and wellness-focused business by creating high-converting copy for masterclasses, lead magnets, email nurture sequences, landing pages, social content, and sales campaigns. You will understand how to communicate behavior-change concepts in a way that feels relatable, credible, and action-oriented—without sounding overly academic, pushy, or generic. What You’ll Do Learn and consistently write in the Mind Body Behavior brand voice, including our mission, values, audience needs, offers, and positioning. Write post-masterclass follow-up email sequences that build trust, reinforce key takeaways, address objections, and guide warm leads toward the next best step. Create and optimize copy for lead magnets, opt-in pages, thank-you pages, delivery emails, and nurture funnels. Write conversion-focused sales emails, launch emails, application invitations, and deadline-driven campaign copy. Develop landing-page copy for masterclasses, programs, coaching offers, workshops, and digital products. Turn existing content—videos, trainings, podcast episodes, course materials, testimonials, and client stories—into clear marketing assets. Collaborate with the founder and team to translate complex behavior analysis, wellness, coaching, and education topics into language the audience can immediately understand and act on. Research audience pain points, desired outcomes, objections, language patterns, and decision-making barriers. Maintain organized messaging documents, including brand voice guidelines, offer positioning, testimonial banks, and campaign copy. Review performance data and improve copy based on open rates, click-through rates, opt-ins, applications, and conversions. What We’re Looking For Proven experience writing conversion copy for coaches, educators, experts, wellness brands, course creators, or service-based businesses. Excellent ability to capture and maintain an established brand voice. Strong understanding of customer psychology, emotional drivers, objections, and ethical persuasion. Experience writing email sequences, landing pages, lead magnets, sales pages, and launch campaigns. Ability to write for warm leads who already know the brand through a masterclass, free resource, social content, or email list. Skilled at balancing empathy and clarity with direct calls to action. Strong research skills and the ability to absorb complex subject matter quickly. Detail-oriented editing skills, including grammar, structure, messaging consistency, and calls to action. Comfortable working from outlines, recorded trainings, voice notes, existing assets, and strategic direction. Reliable communication, strong organization, and the ability to meet deadlines independently. Brand Voice Expectations Our copy should feel: Warm, intelligent, grounded, and encouraging. Behaviorally informed without being overly clinical or jargon-heavy. Clear and practical rather than vague, hype-driven, or manipulative. Credible and educational, while still motivating readers to take action. Respectful of the audience’s autonomy, real-life barriers, and desire for sustainable change. Focused on helping people understand themselves, make meaningful changes, and access the right support or education. Success in This Role Looks Like Leads who attend a masterclass feel understood and know exactly what to do next. Lead magnets attract the right people and naturally introduce them to our offers. Email sequences increase engagement, applications, calls, sales, or program enrollments. Our messaging sounds consistent across campaigns, even as offers and audiences evolve. Complex concepts become simple, relevant, and compelling without losing their integrity. Marketing copy builds long-term trust—not just short-term clicks.
