We are a small non-profit that collects gently used dance costumes and dance shoes and distributes them to inner city schools that have dance programs as well as children community centers. We already have a very simple website with our logo but we were hoping to make the website more sophisticated with pictures and a link that allows people to donate. Initially, we were only looking for costume donations, but we are now moving towards financial contributions as well so that we can provide dance scholarships. We may also need help with content writing and figuring out how many pages are appropriate for where we are as an organization.

Hello, I have an existing website on Squarespace that we have begun to redesign and modify. While I have achieved the look and style of the site, I do not have the skills required to make all of the final adjustments to the style settings, nor can I adapt the desktop version I have worked in to the mobile version. Looking for someone who can take my design and just make the site function 100%, also make sure all of the SEO is in place. Thank you

About Pension101 Pension101 is a financial literacy platform built to help people actually understand their own financial situation — not just see a number, but understand the nuances behind it. We build high-quality calculators covering pensions (CalSTRS, CalPERS, LACERA), investments, 401(k)s, taxes, probate fees, and RMDs, so people can explore their own numbers before making major financial decisions. We make this sustainable by connecting people with licensed professionals: fiduciary advisors, CPAs, mortgage brokers, attorneys. Every calculator, every page, and every interaction is designed to build enough trust and clarity that someone chooses to connect with a counselor and shows up to that conversation. The role We're hiring our first dedicated UI/UX Designer. You'll join a small team, which means your work will have an outsized, visible impact on the product Right now, our desktop experience is decent but our mobile experience is clunky, and across the board we need an interface that makes complex financial information feel simple and trustworthy rather than overwhelming. You'll be responsible for fixing that — redesigning existing flows, and creating new mockups and drafts for engineers to build as we launch new calculators and CTAs. This role is design execution, not design research. Requirements and user insights will be handed to you; your job is translating them into interfaces that are clear, credible, and easy to act on — especially on mobile, and especially at the moments that matter most: understanding a calculator result, and deciding to connect with a counselor. What you'll do Redesign and simplify existing UI/UX across the platform, with a strong focus on fixing mobile usability Design new calculators and financial tools in collaboration with the founder and engineering team, from early wireframes through polished, dev-ready mockups Design and optimize the calls-to-action that drive people toward booking and attending a counselor session — this is our single most important conversion path Write and refine UI copy that makes financial concepts easy to understand without oversimplifying them Maintain and evolve a consistent visual system (color, type, components) across calculators, marketing pages, and CTAs Use AI design/prototyping tools to move quickly from concept to testable mockup Translate handed-off research and requirements into interface decisions — you won't be running studies, but you will need to interpret findings well Partner closely with engineers to make sure designs translate faithfully into the built product What we're looking for 3–5+ years of experience as a UI/UX designer, with a portfolio that shows real product work (not just visual concepts) Strong proficiency in Figma Comfort using AI tools as part of your design workflow (prototyping, ideation, content assistance, etc.) Strong eye for color and visual design — able to make dense, technical information feel clean and approachable Strong copywriting instincts — you can write or tightly edit UI copy that makes financial concepts clear Some familiarity with finance, investing, or fintech concepts is preferred (you don't need to be an expert, but you should be comfortable getting up to speed on pensions, RMDs, taxes, etc.) Experience designing for mobile-first or mobile-heavy products Comfortable working in a small team where priorities move quickly and your design decisions ship fast Why join Join at the ground floor as our first dedicated designer — your work will directly shape a product used by people making major financial decisions Real growth opportunity as the company scales Full-time, remote role with a small, direct team and a short path from idea to shipped design Quarterly in-person meetups in the Pasadena, CA area

Hi there, I am looking for an experienced web developer to build a clean, professional, and visually cohesive website for my outdoor brand, comfortablyoutdoors.com. I already own the domain name through Wix and have all of the content ready to go, including my main branding banner, Pinterest links, and product details. Project Scope:Domain Connection: Safely point or connect my existing Wix domain to the chosen platform. Affiliate Hub: Set up a clean layout for my outdoor gear recommendations using my Amazon Affiliate text links. E-Commerce Store: Set up a secure digital storefront to sell my custom art and photography as automatic media downloads. Security Setup: Ensure public-facing product previews are protected (e.g., right-click disabled and watermarked) so users cannot download them without purchasing. Important Note on IP & Content: I am ready to provide all final high-resolution assets and project details so you can deliver a completely finished, turnkey website. However, due to the proprietary nature of my art and photography, I require a simple Mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to be signed/agreed to in the chat before I hand over the asset files. Please let me know your platform recommendation (Wix, Shopify, etc.) to keep my ongoing monthly fees low, along with your estimated timeline and fixed cost for this setup. I would like to be able to update the site or make changes myself at a later date if needed. Looking forward to your proposal! Best regards, ComfortablyOutdoors
