Require validation of machine-translated book draft to produce precise translation from English to Spanish of Amazon KDP book of approximately 30,000 words. This book is about First-time homeowners buying their first home. This book has a relaxed, friendly tone, but contains a lot of technical information. The tone is something that is important to keep. The Authors do not speak Spanish, so this fine-tuning of the machine-translated book is an important step to produce an appealing book for this audience. Step 1 - verify inputs for machine-translated tool to ensure initial draft can be translated properly through the App. This would be done with a 15-30 minute Zoom call with shared screen with Author, Anne LaPorta. This step requires knowledge of most common dialect appropriate for U.S. Spanish-speaking audience ages approximately 20 - 45 (Gen Z and Millennials). Step 2 - Then the machine-generated draft would require post-editing of that machine-translated content with a focus on accuracy and natural fluency in Spanish appropriate for this audience. Step 3 - check Front and Back cover information (see attached) and make any recommended changes in redline/tracked changes format. Step 4 - Check book draft and cover information for punctuation and grammar errors and make changes in redline/tracked changes format. NO work under this contract may be AI Generated. Deliverables - Microsoft Word (docx) drafts 1) Redline draft - showing redlined (tracked changes) from the original machine-translated copy to the final version. 2) Review conference of draft with author on 2nd call - 15-30 minute Zoom call to go over any questions 3) Clean draft - Final MSWord document (docx) with all changes accepted Attached is the AI generated information for the back book cover.
