I'm relocating from Seattle to Cleveland and need someone to run the front end of my mover search so I don't spend a week on the phone. I've already done the research. You'll get a finished spreadsheet with a shortlist of moving companies, a call script with the exact questions to ask, and a tracker with the columns to fill in. You don't need any moving industry knowledge. What I need is someone organized who is genuinely comfortable making outbound calls to US businesses and taking careful notes. What you'll do -Call moving companies from my shortlist (phone numbers and websites provided). The list is grouped into tiers, work top to bottom, Tier A first. -Read them my prepared move summary, same script every time, so the quotes are comparable. -Work through my list of 12 standard questions and record the answers in the tracker. -Ask each company to email a written estimate, and forward/CC those to me. -Where a company only takes web forms, submit the form using my prepared summary. -Flag any company that won't answer the written-line-item questions, that's useful information, not a failure. -Send me one short end-of-day summary each day you work. What you will NOT do -You will not book, sign, schedule, or pay for anything. No deposits, no contracts, no commitments of any kind. You gather information; every decision is mine. -You will not be asked to provide any payment details, and I won't send you any. -You won't need to handle my address or personal details beyond a general neighborhood and the city. Requirements -Available during 8am–5pm US Pacific time on at least three weekdays this coming week. This is the hard requirement, the companies you're calling keep Pacific business hours. -Clear, confident spoken English and real comfort on the phone with businesses. -Google Sheets competence, you'll be filling in a structured tracker. -Reliable phone setup and quiet environment. -Appointment setting, cold calling, lead research, or similar phone-based experience. Deliverable My tracker, filled in for every company you reached, plus forwarded written estimates and a short note on which companies were responsive and which weren't. Budget & timeline -I'd like this done within one week of hiring. I'll start with a paid trial of 2 calls at hourly. -If the notes come back clear and complete, we will continue with the rest. To apply Please answer these three in your proposal. I'll skip applications that don't: -What time zone are you in, and which hours can you work between 8am–5pm US Pacific? -Describe one time you made outbound calls to businesses and had to collect specific information. -What did you do when someone was unhelpful? -Start your reply with the word CASCADE so I know you read the whole post.

We're running a short, paid research study on what it's like when your company gets bought and you're moved onto the new owner's systems. We want to hear from people who lived it from the inside: back office, operations, admin, finance, customer service, or field staff. NOT executives who negotiated the deal. You should be US-based, and your company should have been acquired in the last five years while you were there. You should have stayed at least a few months after. 30 minute video call, $50/hr prorated. Nothing to prepare, no right answers, nothing being sold. To apply, please answer briefly: - What the business does, its rough size, and your role - When the ownership change happened - What systems you had to switch to, by name - How you were trained, or whether you were left to figure it out - One thing that got harder or broke

Our operating foundation is managing a long-running strategic advisory engagement and need a coordinator who can hold the operational center while strategy and content move fast around them. This blends three roles: the judgment of a chief of staff, the follow-through of an executive admin, and the structure of a project manager. You'll keep a content-rich web portal organized, run the production calendar for a cadence of multimedia deliverables (video, audio, written, visual), and make sure nothing slips across a small, senior team. If you build the tracker before anyone asks for one, you'll do well here. **What you'll do** - Maintain portal structure, content inventory, and version discipline — what's published, drafted, scheduled, overdue. - Manage the media production calendar from concept through review to publication. - Provide chief-of-staff support: meeting prep and follow-up, turning loose direction into next steps, protecting the principal's time. - Own the master timeline, dependencies, and status reporting. - Handle calendar, document, and file-organization logistics. **You're a strong fit if you** - Have run point on multi-workstream projects as the person who knew where everything was. - Work fluently in Google Workspace and pick up new tools fast. - Write cleanly and operate comfortably in an executive-facing context. - Exercise discretion with sensitive material and senior stakeholders. - Close loops and surface risks early without being chased. **Nice to have:** consulting/advisory support experience, content-production workflow familiarity, mission-driven or education-sector background. **To apply,** tell us briefly: (1) a project where you were the connective tissue across people and workstreams, (2) the systems you use to stay organized, (3) your weekly availability. Skip the generic cover letter — a short, specific note on how you'd keep a content portal and media calendar organized tells us more.

Role: Approximately 10 hours per week at $22 per hour, for 2 to 3 weeks. Overview We are launching a competition event at two shopping centers this fall and need a friendly, reliable person to make outbound calls to a list of local businesses and organizations we provide (gyms, run clubs, rec leagues, youth groups, and similar). This is warm community outreach, not hard sales. You are opening the door and passing interested contacts to our team, who handle everything after that. What you'll do Work through a provided list of roughly 120 local organizations, front loaded across the first two weeks Introduce the event briefly on behalf of the shopping center and gauge interest Make one follow up per contact if you don't reach them the first time (voicemail plus a short text) Log the outcome of every call in a Google Sheet using a set list of statuses we give you Flag interested contacts so our team can send them the full details by email You are not closing anything and you are not sending the materials yourself. Your job is to make contact, capture the outcome accurately, and route the warm ones to us. Shape of the work Roughly 60 first calls per week for the first two weeks, which clears the full list A final week weighted toward follow ups and texts from earlier contacts Steady, accurate logging throughout, because the sheet is how our team knows who to follow up with You're a great fit if you Speak clear, natural, professional English and sound warm on the phone Are comfortable with light cold outreach and don't get rattled by voicemail or a no Are organized and accurate with data entry Are based in the United States (calls are to US local businesses and it helps to sound local) Can work independently against a weekly call target with minimal supervision Details Tools: your own phone or a softphone, Google Sheets We provide the list, the call script, the status codes, and a short onboarding To apply, tell us in two or three sentences about any phone outreach or appointment setting work you've done, and confirm you're US based with a quiet space to make calls.

I'm looking for a reliable phone-based VA to make outreach calls to a list of ~99 Black-owned businesses in the Atlanta area, inviting them to join The Grid Protocol (thegridprotocol.com) — a free directory built specifically for Black-owned businesses. The role involves making phone calls to introduce the platform and encourage sign-ups. The ideal candidate will have experience in phone-based outreach and be comfortable with cold calling. It's free to join. The purpose is twofold: it gives consumers a way to find and get discounts for shopping at Black-owned businesses, and it positions the businesses themselves for the future of digital/agentic payments as more institutions adopt web3 infrastructure. In short — it lets Black-owned businesses capture profit that's otherwise walled off simply because the payment infrastructure isn't there yet to facilitate it. What you'll do: Call each business from a provided list (spreadsheet with name, phone number, category) Deliver a short script (provided) explaining the free listing and founding-member offer Use the attached FAQ to answer common questions Log the outcome for each call: Signed up / Interested — needs follow-up / Not interested / No answer Return the completed tracking sheet at the end What I'll provide: full call list, call script, FAQ document, tracking spreadsheet Budget capped at $250 total. Please apply with your hourly rate and an estimate of hours for ~99 calls.
