We need an experienced local SEO consultant to diagnose a traffic drop and deliver a written action plan for our mold remediation company in Los Angeles. Mold Zero Services LLC (moldzerollc.com) is a professional mold inspection and remediation company serving the greater Los Angeles area. The site is technically healthy — 96% SEMrush site health, zero crawl errors, full schema coverage — but organic visibility dropped from 4.70% to 1.37% and estimated traffic dropped over 90% between May and August 2026, coinciding with a series of changes made to the site. We are not looking for someone to do the implementation. We have a WordPress contractor who handles execution. We need an expert who can review what happened, identify what is causing the decline, and deliver a clear prioritized action plan that our contractor can execute. A detailed project briefing document is attached. Please read it before submitting a proposal. It covers the full change history, current rankings, known issues, and the specific questions we need answered. Candidates who have not read the brief will be easy to identify. The deliverable is a written report covering: A diagnosis of why traffic dropped, with your confidence level on each cause A verdict on whether our primary keyword loss is real or a measurement artifact A prioritized fix list for the 4 active keyword cannibalization issues An assessment of the 301 redirect strategy from 17 deleted pages and whether it should be adjusted A Google Business Profile optimization action plan A backlink acquisition strategy appropriate for a local service business at our current authority level Any content quality issues you identify that may be contributing to the decline

We recently completed a major redesign of our website for TintXperts, an established residential and commercial architectural window film company serving Central Florida. We are very happy with the new website, its design, layout, and overall content. We are NOT looking to redesign it. What we need now is an experienced On-Page / Local SEO specialist to make sure the SEO foundation behind the new website is properly optimized. Why now? Why Upwork? Unfortunately our SEO person had a family emergency can cannot help us. We need someone who can BOTH analyze the website and implement the approved changes directly in WordPress/Elementor. This is not an audit-only project. Important Note — Our New Website Is Still Going Live We are currently in the final stages of launching our redesigned website. At the time this job is being posted: * Our new Homepage is live * Our 2 new pages under “Industries We Serve” are live * Our 8 newly redesigned Service Pages are NOT live yet and are scheduled to go live Thursday If you research our website before applying, please understand that some of the Service Pages you currently see are part of our previous website architecture and are NOT the pages we are hiring you to optimize. Once the new Service Pages are live, the project will cover the new website architecture as a whole. Final Project Scope * 1 Homepage * 2 Industry Pages * 8 Service Pages * 11 pages total * WordPress / Elementor Our company specializes specifically in residential and commercial architectural window film/window tinting — not automotive tint. What We Want to Optimize Our primary focus is improving the SEO within the existing pages and design, including: * SEO titles / title tags * Meta descriptions * H1, H2 and H3 structure * Primary and secondary keyword targeting * Search intent * URL structure / slugs * Internal linking and anchor text * Image alt text * Local / geographic SEO signals * Schema / structured data * Canonicals and indexability * Page-to-page keyword overlap / cannibalization * Google Search Console issues * XML sitemap / robots considerations * Broken links and redirects * Basic technical/mobile SEO issues affecting these pages * Any other important on-page SEO factors you identify Important: We Want to Preserve the Website We really like our new website design and content structure. We are not looking for major design changes, new sections, rewritten pages, or moving entire content blocks around. The goal is to optimize the SEO within the existing website structure whenever possible — titles, meta descriptions, headings, keyword targeting, internal links, URLs, technical elements, etc. If you identify a larger content or structural change that you strongly believe would materially improve SEO, please recommend it and explain why. Do not make major visual, content, or structural changes without discussing them with us first. Audit + Implementation We do not want someone who simply runs our website through an automated SEO tool and sends us a report. We need someone who can: 1. Audit and analyze the new website and its SEO structure 2. Explain what should be changed and why 3. Implement the approved changes directly in WordPress/Elementor You should be comfortable working inside WordPress, Elementor, and our SEO plugin to make the actual changes. Initial Video Consultation Before selecting a freelancer, we would like to have a short video interview/consultation with our finalists through Upwork. Window film is a specialized industry, and we want the person working on our SEO to understand our company, the services we provide, our residential and commercial customers, and the Central Florida markets we serve. We also want the opportunity to hear how you would approach the project and answer questions before making our final hiring decision. About Us & Budget Expectations TintXperts is an established Central Florida company, but we are still a small, owner-operated business. We are not looking for a large SEO agency, an enterprise-level engagement, or an expensive monthly retainer. We are looking for an experienced independent SEO professional who can complete a focused, practical, one-time project to strengthen the on-page SEO foundation of our newly redesigned website. We prefer a fixed-price proposal for the complete audit + implementation. Our Goal Our goal is to improve organic visibility for relevant residential and commercial window film searches throughout Central Florida and ultimately generate more qualified leads. We want Google to clearly understand: 1. What services we provide 2. Where we provide them 3. Which page should rank for which search intent We want thoughtful SEO — not keyword stuffing and not simply chasing green scores inside an SEO plugin. What We Are NOT Looking For * Major website redesign * Complete rewriting of our Service Pages * Large SEO agency / expensive monthly retainer * Automated audit with no implementation * Mass-produced AI content * Keyword stuffing * Link-building packages * Hundreds of unnecessary location pages * Ongoing blog production This project is specifically about getting the on-page SEO foundation of our newly redesigned website right. Ideal Freelancer You should have: * Strong On-Page SEO experience * Local SEO experience * WordPress + Elementor experience * Experience optimizing service-area businesses * Understanding of Service Pages vs. Industry Pages * Google Search Console experience * Ability to personally implement your recommendations * Ability to explain SEO decisions in plain English Experience with home-service companies, contractors, window film, glass, solar control, HVAC, roofing, or similar local service industries is a plus. When You Apply Please include: What you think is important for us to know. Please start your proposal with the word “Tint” so we know you actually read the project description.
